I know matt, my point was abt the partner, as MKI’ing cud also have done with the Russians as they are a more reliable partner and will always stand by us and what they might have needa was the funds for that development …. but with the partners choosing, its a gaurantted one that for 5 yrs India wud have to let the other guy play with some more time ….. and thats whats happening …

The Yemeni’s sud have gone for the retracting IFR probe , this ones somewhat tales the neauty out of the beautifuls lines that MiG-29’s have and so do that Humb back thats (not for this one) which makes the MiG-29 real ugly and seems like its carrying a huge load on its back and also sluggish …

So you are saying developing a new radar and C3I system to meet the bar would be done shorter + cheaper than something IAF says meets the std i.e Phalcon ? India already has some exp with the Phalcon systems radar as 2 x Green Pines are deployed on the ground and now Elta aerostat radars are entering service.

frankly am hearing the amt of leasing for the first time, where did u get that from??….asnd only for a month?…. I guess the A-50s wree here for more than a month … and abt the requirements and the testing I’ve been waiting to hear … can some one post abt the IAF’s finding of the A-50 leasing and … yes I do believe IAF did make a mistake by becoming the perfect ‘bakra’…. else IAF too cud have gone the MKI way, after all there was no MKI when IAF went searching, so in case of A-50’s too i guess it cud have been possible, and as Vympel posted two news items it mentioned abt the AESA under develpment and to be tested in 2004, so the monetary part from the Indian side (begning 99) cud have made the A-50MKI come to life by now or atleast by 2005 …. and thats what i’, saying…..

any of the guys here , can u provide me with more info abt the A-50 leasing by the IAF and also the ‘findings’ of the IAF, which model was leased – A-50U or the new A-50Eh thats been reported to be what PLAAF is getting/got ??

well both PLA, we cant depend on any parasites for our defence, particularly force multipliers like AWACS, its now 5 yrs since the A-50 was leased (?) and another 4 yrs more b4 the first Phalcon arrive….. S— man, damn those idiots who leaps b4 thinking …. and do rem that Indian AWACS programme started in the early 90’s and also do rem that there was some serious ‘undercover’ activites which made sure that the ‘crashed’ project be clod stored (well thats what I believe) …..

well frankly I consider the Phalcon deal as Unkil ka Bakra ……Unkil was searching for a Bakra for refunding the Isreali’s cancelled deal and IAF jumped into that aka Isreali’s seduced ….. if they had gone with the Russians in develioping an A-50MKI, couple of them wud have been in service now, and more in the process of being rolled out …… now whjat is the case is that till 2007 I’ll gaurantee that I wont kick ur —— even if u hit me on my cheek, else my 1.5 Billion is gonna get drained …. damn … and its no secret that the only thing thats restraining Indian (aka IAF) from pre-empting or even goin in for the full-scale one is coz of not having the AWACS, and Unkil knows it real good , but not the damn fooooooooools that rules India …..
