18.03.1937 NV Koninklijke Maatschappij “De Schelde”, Vlissingen/*Vlissingen.
Builddate 18-03-1937 at the NV Royal Establishment “De Schelde” in Vlissingen
00.00.1940 Was het toestel voor demonstraties in Engeland en daar bleef het natuurlijk.
in 1940 this aircraft was for demonstration purposes in the UK and it stayed there offcourse
18.03.1943 Bewijs van inschrijving verlopen.
Proof of registration expired
00.00.1945 Vloog het daar in RAF-kleuren mรจt het Nederlandse kenmerk.
in 1945 it flew in RAF colors WITH a the dutch registration
(G-AHJR)
The above English feature was granted in April 1946 but not included.
The aircraft remained in UK and last observation dates from 1960, near Birmingham.
The aircraft was also demonstrated in France, a source even mentions a sale to France
I hope it helps… but i think this is already the known information…
If there are more translations needed, give me a sign…

TG1984

I actualy spotted this phenomenon in 2007 at the Eastbourne airshow with a Hurricane (first time i ever saw more than 1 in an airshow ;)) I was asking myself if there was an engine problem… BUT… Now i know it what it was… So it’s for real Cracking Door;)
thank you all for the positive replies… i was trying to make not the ordinary shots, and i think it came out pretty good ๐

Well as promissed, here a Photographic report of XH-558 in Dutch Airspace… She behaved wonderfull and i would like to say thanks at the people (including all volunteers who helped there) for the wonderfull weekend me and my fellow airshow enthousiast had.. I will cross over for the beast again when RIAT is about to take off and i hope we will even have better weather then last weekend.
these ones are especially for Kev 35 and all the others that don’t complain about an aircraft not being at an airshow at a certain time!!!!
