Boeing could “outdo” Airbus by stating “Ours are better than yours” 😉 lol.

    Personally speaking, I agree.

    I’ll take the 747 over the Airbus anyday… 😀

Question is though now BAA are closing the visitors centre soon, will there be anywhere left to spot legally at EGLL 🙁

I thought it was only closing for ONE day.

    Airbus outdone Boeing? How so?

I was just refering to the A380 vs B747…

The old “ours is bigger than yours” scenario.

Apparently (according to a collegue who has been) the sport at St Maarten is to hang on to the fence as a B747 gets to full thrust for takeoff and to try and get to 90 degrees to the ground without getting blown away!

Ever seen the film “Pushing Tin”?.. 😀 😀 😀

Kinda makes you wonder what a Virgin 744 was doing at Prestwick?

Surely not purely for the BBC.

The 747s they bought are not as old and if anything… this shows the world how more versatile the 747 just is.

Maybe just a “Poke” at Airbus then… 😀

Whereas Airbus outdone Boeing with the A380, so Boeing retaliate with a freighter that’s bigger than the Beluga. :p

“Anything you can do we can do better……….” 😀

So if Boeing want to cart large pieces of aircraft about, why not use the C-17?

Or even dig out some of them old C-5’s (although not Boeing) out of mothballs?

Surely these types are plenty large enough, rather than going to the expense of redesigning the 747 for the purpose.

Don’t forget that all the Guppies and Super Guppies were based on Boeing aircraft . . .

But weren’t the “Guppies” based on the DC-7.

    Great shots.

Love the “Waves and Cranes” 747 and the “Chelsea Rose” 777.

Does anybody else miss the BA World Tails?

Controversial when they were first introduced, but they sort of grew on you didn’t they. 😉

    VC-10 all the time.

    Superb sleek graceful lines. 😎

Apart from the 747, ALL modern airliners look the same.

I have an XFX GeForce 6800GS Ultra XXX 256MB PCI-e, and FS9 (And Others) runs beautifully, also with all sliders on MAX. 😀

    Deano…

I have my frame rate “Locked” at 35fps, and the game sits at 34.8 constantly. 😉

Mind you, to be fair I dont run FS Traffic or any similar add-ons, just FS9.

I should have said your system is perfectly adequate enough to run FS9.

    Why spend more money?
