after having watch that junk for a few minutes, Is WW1 biplanes gen 1 fighters ?
No; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First-generation_jet_fighter
After having seen this; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wj8qhrqYhk0
Is F35 useless without AWACS, is Gripen better in what sense could it be better than a F-35 ?
This says Gripen beats F35 in range, speed, supercruise etc
http://bestfighter4canada.blogspot.fi/p/lockheed-martin-f-35a-lightning-ii-saab.html
Is the price 1/3 of the F35 ?

Please advice !
Here is the stealth fighter version with AESA radar on it.
I may have exaggerated the RCS figure, but since craft is really small the RCS in also exceptionally low ( when form and material is also 100 % correctly executed ).
Possibly a 7th generation stealth fighter.
Thought we were talking about 70ies???
Those were all planes designed in 70ies.
This situation is rather irrelevant as it is the Sparkvark credited with the kill of the Mirage.
Thus, my original question still stands: did at least some of the F.1EQ shotdowns in 1991 occur during mutual fights or was it a turkey shoot at defecting IrAF Mirages?
See it yourself; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G4gN3TlLrhs
Also Russia annexed Crimea after the population overwhelmingly made its desires known. This little fact is often glossed over.
Anyways is this an aviation forum or what?
Why are there then sanctions for Russia if the people overhelmingly wanted Russia to annex them ?
I am just asking.
You’re all set.
Make sure you post pictures and video once you are done.
Good luck!
Thanks bring_it_on !
I think this needs a model to be made ( at least ).
A cloth of fiberclass on a super plywood ( sandwich structure ?! ) is something I am inclined to test…for also other purposes.
See ya…hope I’ll get lucky !
* To be fair, Australia (as a British Dominion) did oppose the attempted western “intervention” in Russia in 1918-19.
How come I don’t remember this intervention….was it brits coming down from Murmansk ?
I was rather thinking of a situation where F.1EQs were shooting first at F-15Cs and then were shot down, as you have mentioned…
Well they were shooting ( firing missiles ) the EF-111 that was flying ahead of the F-15s.
I am sorta on the finishline with this twin engine propeller/rocket hybrid.
I am trying to summarize what I see as advantages of this design.
1. Forward sweep increases lift and is practically stall free.
2. Engines in tandem and transmission via belt saves in frontal area ( drag in general ).
3. Ruddervators cause less interference drag.
4. Lifting body part increases the lift on take off and lowers the stall speed with forward sweep.
5. Both engines function independently.
This “BIZJET” version could also be a stealth fighter with all AA weapons internally housed ( fully 5-8 of them )….and a good sized radar installed.
I am sorry I have taken your time to view these !
Is this as efficient as I think ?
I tested a super plywood yesterday ( pressed them plies in a vice ) with 780 kg/m3 and 910 kg/m3 densities…it might be a good material to make it stealth and lite + durable. Plywood as such will not do ( just 650 kg/m3 ).
Would it still need canards….any opinions ?
I rather take exception at being labeled as a drunk for asking a perfectly reasonable question.
I notice that the Australian gentleman in question responded fairly reasonably on the 30th at 1700 ish. But by 1800 his responses included comments that I consider to be unnecessarily insulting. Maybe HE was partaking of libations ?
I hope the Moderators of this forum react by at least deleting this thread which I regret starting.
I agree……comming pretty steep at you. But when you live in Australia; No worries mate ! When a russian spyplanes are not hurling above your roof and supersonic interceptors braking your windows….it is no worries mate !
This is the DEAN MUSKETT photo 500% enlarged.
From looking at 0:19 in the video, the wings don’t seem to be straight, and the wingspan seems smaller than that B-2 by comparing at 0:07.
Would that kind of design have supersonic capability?
Yes this fits the image….thanks !

It would be nice to cooperate on the Central Asia problem again. The guy in charge right now is sympathetic to the wrong ideology and has purposely been driving a wedge between the U.S. and global partners.
I’d rather see Russia maintain global reach capacity, too. It keeps their enemies nervous. Europe should stop looking at Russia as the enemy and more as a market. The Ukraine and Poland should be prospering under joint Russia-EU trade, not quarreling. It’s a fools game in Europe. They are both under assault by the same ideology, one perpendicular to economic philosophies.
Excuse me what is the Central Asia problem ?
I don’t remember such story.. But it’s possible they were in included in the attack waves in the first days of the GW1. Got any stories to share?
from wiki;
On the first night of the war, Captain Brent Brandon was flying his EF-111 “Spark Vark” on an electronic warfare mission ahead of a group of jets on a bombing run. Several IRAF Dassault Mirage F1s came in and engaged the flight. One of them went after the unarmed EF-111. Captain Brandon executed a tight turn and launched chaff to avoid the missiles being fired by the Mirage. A F-15 on the same flight, piloted by Robert Graeter, went after the Mirage trying to protect the EF-111. The Mirage launched a missile which the Raven avoided by launching chaff. Captain Brandon decided to head for the deck to try to evade his pursuer. As he went down he pulled up to avoid the ground, the Mirage followed him through, though the Mirage went straight into the ground. An unarmed EF-111 thus scored an air-air victory against a Dassault Mirage F1, although Graeter was credited with a kill. The EF-111A pilots won the Distinguished Flying Cross.[3]
