I do know someone who may still a spare Kite 2. I dont know what its like. Its been out side covered up for a few years. I only have Slingsby built Kite 1’s

Have you tried the Vintage Glider page on Facebook, Both Al Stacey and Peter Hardman the VGC Archivist look at it most days. I must admit i’ve never heard of pilots notes for a Swallow. But then i don’t do gliders after the 1940’s

I knew a 158sdn Wop/Ag who said they dipped there feet in soot to make foot prints on the celling bar. Also they would buy a pint for someone who got the chop (killed)) and put it to one side. No one would drink the pint, it was left in a place for about a week.

Good to see it saved The MAS, British Glider book say’s it C of A expired 12.67 stored at Twinwood Farm. If you are going to fly it it may need a Mod 80 on the wing spar. We did this when we had BGA833.
