The majority of the British people want out, it’s been established in numerous opinion polls over the years, and it went through a commons petition recently where the government refused to give the people a vote! Doing more of the same useless polls and petitions isn’t going to cause the government to do anything, though it’s good for keeping the issue in people’s minds. The only way the UK is going to get out of the EU is if the Conservative party find their candidates losing more of their seats because their vote is being split between UKIP and the Conservatives. If this happens then the Conservatives will end up losing every election to Labour and only then will they be forced to take action on the EU or face eternity in opposition. Petitions are a complete waste of time, the government do not care what you think except at elections.
So uhhh, which is it, Dave? 😀
Repeat after me (as you rock back and forth)…
“I’ll stop buying my dope from a homeless dude”
“I’ll stop buying my dope from a homeless dude”
“I’ll stop buying my dope from a homeless dude”You apparently got a hold of some bad $hit 😉
I’ll take that as a yes, you do agree that F35 is a 4th gen. Great to see we all agree 🙂
So it’s agreed that F35 is 4th Gen?

The car on the ramp was a WIN!
LOL at that ZX6R (Green motorbike). I don’t think they check if Americans can ride the motorbikes. A lot of them don’t even wear helmets let alone other types of protective gear.
These do just go to show how incredibly stupid many people really are 🙂 Surely nobody would think jumping from a barn roof is going to end in anything other than extremely serious injuries? Going down a flight of stairs in a shopping cart?
I saw another funny fail for 2011, but unfortunately no video. I was at a trackday at Silverstone and there is a sighting lap at the start, 25 to 30mph, and the red lights come up on the intermediate group (not slow nor n00bs) signalling that someone has managed to stack it.

@SpudmanWP
Are you responding to my post, or just posting randomly? It doesn’t seem to be particularly related to my post, but I would like confirmation 🙂
@moggy
But why is the company so close to the overdraft limit in the first place? Surely the idea of business is to make profit not rack up debts?

Eagle, your post is simply a regurgitation of the official Lockheed propaganda, and is no more correct than if I simply state the obvious, which is that Typhoon simply batters the F35 in air to air. Sure, F35 has plus points, as do Typhoon, Rafale, SH ect, but your weighting of those plus points (or weightings by other pro-F35ers) is no more valid than the weightings by others. However, since you are adopting such an obvious superiority complex I can only assume you are just joking around, and aren’t expecting anyone to take your post seriously 😎
Many managers are of the opinion that if they play you off against each other they will get more work out of you. They themselves spend their time proposing new management practices (bullsh1t) to their bosses to try and get promotion, and fire their workers and outsource the work to save costs before being fired themselves. Generally speaking, if you work for someone, you’re going to get the short end of the stick.

@hampden98
We also have Tomahawk, Storm Shadow, Trident, Special Forces, Submarines and lots of air transports. The Harriers were useful last time, but that isn’t to say they would have been so effective in a future conflict. The most effective option is Eurofighters, these are leagues ahead of Harrier. The other main defence is to shift extra troops there as fast as possible, this forces the Argentines to find three times whatever we send to overcome the defenders advantage, and increases the casualty toll they will face in trying to capture the islands.

It’s not a huge surprise, they were just going through the list of available American options. The biggest surprise for me was that they actually thought the Americans would cave in on F22 on the even partial basis of that quite unconvincing mock up of a domestic fighter. I predict a similar fate for the Korean prototype and subsequent selection of F35. I don’t see the Japanese decision having anything to do with F35B, more likely they want something as similar to J20 as possible, and if they were to want an additional capability in the F35 it would be upgrades to the A to make it a better fighter rather than getting B for naval use.

Interesting read 🙂
