If Russia doesnt buy Su35, the brazil order is too small to make it
a viable product. they would be better just buying off the MKI/M or MKK lineage.

the pt on foreign avionics is +ve point in favour of IAPO. kinda implies though the end user attaches more value to said package of avionics than the more powerful AL35F engines and somewhat redesigned fuselage of the SU35.

Iraq is poised for a civil war and eventual breakup into 3 nations.
Going after Iran pretty much ensures they will lay waste to both Iraq and western afghanistan via proxies. If the Paks sign on into this adventure then Iran will rouse the Shia extremists and baluchis in Pak as well.

So the end result is likely to be Iraq being another afghanistan, about 3 million more terrorist prospective recruits across the lslamic nations and no end to the middle east crises.

American is hardly able to police Iraq – a nation 4x less size and population than iran and whose people had suffered under saddam. Iranians may not like the hardline mullahs much but they are a deeply patriotic people I think and wont take kindly to any occupier. It will be a bottomless swamp if anyone goes in.

Iran has not been caught attempting to sell their tech anywhere, unlike another nation which borders them and supposedly a faithful “ally” of the gorilla. So I think the world can live with a nuclear iran.

imo Iran hasnt been on the anti-american terrorist/al-keeda bandwagon for quite a while now around 15 yrs. they do provide aid to hezbollah in lebanon I think.
