A few more,

If the weather is fine, I will be going back to Duxford on Saturday 16 April.
It is quite obvious in the end of one of the the hangars that and increasing number of aircraft have been out and about in the last few weeks. Hope to catch a few in the air next Saturday, fingers crossed.
Two last pics.

Thanks for posting the nice pics and thank you Rob for the great displays.
Cheers Martin
A very nice selection of images. The 2nd formation take off shot is my favourite.

Some very decent out of the camera pics Dave and glad you had a good day.
Agree, the Whitney is a nice catch. Thanks for posting the images.
What time did the sky brighten up?
Cheers

Thank you all for the kind comments.
Last chance for a Vintage Sunday is 3 April 2011. There no more dates after that on the Old Sarum web site.
Perhaps after that they will change to the first Wednesday of the month, like last year.
You never know what is going to turn up.
Cameras used was 5D MK11 and 24-105 lens for static ground shots. 7d and 100-400 lens for the take off shot and a mix of both cameras with same lens for taxi shots.
Every single aircraft was very clean and smart.
Cheers
Martin

Thank you for your kind comments. A last lot.
The fly ins are on every first Sunday of the month. Next one is Feb 6 and again on March 6.
Thanks

Thanks for posting the images. Is that the Comet called Canopus? A lovely aircraft.
Thanks

More,

Thank you Anna and John.
John,
I think I was probably slightly to the left of you though not much (your right if you turn your back on the runway) but I was a long way behind the crowd line trying to get the aircraft a bit earlier than most in more saturated sky with more sun on the aircraft. Post processing also helped.
The Sea Hawk and the Bearcat were quite low at those points and both did some very nice turns round the corner.
As I was almost directly behind you (thougha long distance behind) and with the aircraft coming round beside each of us, that would account for the similarity in some of the images.
I have sent you a PM re file size etc.
Thanks
Martin
Lovely pictures. That Sabre is a very nice aircraft to look at.
Thanks
