I woul like to see:
Much better ATC, declaring emergencies, SIDs, STARs, requesting directs to a fix, etc. Yes, IVAO and VATSIM are great but I don´t have a lot of time for flying with MSFS and I can accelerate the sim when offline. Also, IVAO/VATSIM may be empty of people when I fly
Improved performace
Much better flight dynamics
Here you can see a few F-1s at Albacete AB, Southeast Spain. Four of them are on a taxiway, maybe returning from a mission. There´re many others parked outside the shelters
An aircraft departing Madrid Barajas airport, having taken off from 36L runway. You can also see the shadow.
Torrejon AB, close to Madrid, lot of things to sight. On the northeast part of the ramp, you can see Hornets and a few retired Phantoms (I believe they are phantoms, if not, let me know). On the southwest part you can see 4 canadair cl-415 , and another one in front of an hangar. Also, a lot of bizjets, as this airport is also used by bussiness aviation.
Many ammo depots here, and a military golf course between the air base and the ammo depots :diablo:
Rota NAS, a joint Spanish Navy / US Navy air base in southwest Spain. You can see five heavies (C-17s or C-5s , I can´t tell) , one of them ready for takeoff. Also, I guess the other aircraft on the ramp are P-3s. Harriers should be somewhere, but I can´t find them.
And , if you look at the southeast of the runway, you can see the harbour with the aircraft carrier Principa de Asturias and other ships.
This airline is doing great, recently they have begun to flight to China with an A340, but the success of these flights is making them consider the purchase of a 747-400 or even a 777. I guess Boeing is very happy with this loyal costumer
An Exxon´s helicopter found the crashed plane, sadly nobody survived. RIP.
The number of people onboard is unclear. The goverment states that the plane was able to carry 44 passengers and 6 crew but other sources talk about 79 passengers onboard. It´s difficult to get the real number because it´s common to pay for the trip but without any kind of ticket.
Opponets to Ecuatorial Guinea´s dictator Teodoro Obiang claim that the airline involved, Air Equateur , is owned by Obiang´s daughter Anita Mbasogo and his husband and so they had freedom to overload their planes.
Anyway, a spanish woman working at bata told to news agency EFE that she had flew with Air Equateur and never saw more passengers than seats. But, I guess they still could have olverloaded the plane by installing more seats than the allowed number by the manufacturer and civil aviation authorities.
Great pics man, BTW, who made the heart?
I would say that the UK waste a lot of money with the nuclear deterrent force and the subs needed to carry the nukes. I cannot see the purpose of those expensive weapons nowadays for a country like the UK or France.
Nice shots. The Aerolineas Argentinas MD80 runs a European shuttle service for the airline out of Madrid connecting to their trans-atlantic Beunos Aires service.
I think the white ATR is possibly a Swiftair one.
Right, the MD-80 is based in Madrid because Aerolineas uses Madrid as a mini-hub to move passengers to and from Madrid. Another MD-80 from Aerolineas is operated by Air Plus , both airlines are owned by the same family so they trade planes often.
And, right too with the ATR, EC-JAD is from Swiftair
Very very sad these news, I´m watching Sky News by satellite TV.
Sadly, as we saw in madrid last year and now in london, a big city public transport network is very difficult to protect from terrorism

Well, you guys are having some kind of debate in you countries, here in spain there was a massive “yes” campaign by all the media. The two main political parties went for the “yes” and so nobody could make a good “no” campaign.
I´m not saying that the results would have been different, but it´s not fair to make a referendum without letting every voice to be heard.

Well, the C295 is not intended to get big loads, I mean if you need up to 15 CN235 / 8 C27 you may need an hercules instead, it´s not a matter of load capacity but flexibility.
Anyway, I think the Spartan has a big point with its commonality with the hercules, and of course being a Lockheed aircraft helps too, I know Alenia has a big part of the project but the fact that an american company holds a share of the project will enhace Spartan´s chances.
The EADS-CASA has the point of being a proven aircraft, it has been used in both hot and cold conditions, from the desert to high fields, a lot of experience and no surprises. It has been selected by the US Coast Guard for the Deep Water program, and a few 235 (maybe just one?) are used by the US SOC. Let´s see what happens… when is the final decision taken?
Pretty cool pics. Is a purchase process running? I was aware of the intention to replace the Sherpas but I thought it was just a future purchase. Also, I thought the idea was to replace the type, not just the Alaska Army national guard ones.
Well, I´ve to disagree with your chice, maybe because the 295 is built here, but also because the EADS aircraft has a great experience, with a lot of users worldwide, being the evolution of the succesful 235.
