The reason I am curious about Eastern is that 3 years ago they had a frankly apalling reputation within the industry. Obviously they have gone through massive change in the last year or so, so perhaps they are now a good little operator. I must say their rate of expansion has been highly impressive!

G-SPOT was deregistered in 1989. Whether it was forced to take up another reg or just that the aircraft cam to its end I don’t know.

Aurigny is the old Latin word for Alderney. The airline was originally set up to supply Alderney from primarily Guernsey but also Jersey. Nowadays only a small part of the operation is based there (reservations, etc) while the main offices are in Guernsey. The old Latin name for Guernsey is Sarnia but there has already been a Trislander operation under the name Air Sarnia.

Wow, I’m blown away, 7 replies in 20 minutes and all happening at the same time as the Big Brother live final!

No, I too didn’t think it was offensive (you can’t even see a nipple!) but someone did find it bad enough to complain to Webmaster so I concede it should go. I have saved Ren’s new avatar for me to use at a later date (thanks Ren) but I have to say I rather like the slightly ‘dodgy geezer’ status I currently have with my ‘removed by webmaster’ avatar!!!

In the same vain as my recently removed avatar there used to be a Partnavia P68 with the registration G-SPOT!!!
