Very true Mongu. The airlines won’t want to keep one type just for one route.

I am always particularly gobsmacked that Saab is only 15. He sometimes writes more meaningful posts than my MD!

Also, why do you use the name Mongu?

Ren – I’m not doing the second GLA tour now (a Glaswegian LGW based FO wants to do it for me) and another guy might do the first one!

The OY reg Aurigny Shed was in LGW today at about 1400. What was it doing there in the middle of the day?

Last one (the twin) is a Beech Baron. I think the one before is a Eurostar.

    2 things –

    1) I don’t think EAL KING means any direspect, in fact he’s been quite thick skinned towards some of the comments aimed towards him. Keep posting EAL KING but please type slower and make sure we can understand what you want to say before hitting the ‘submit reply’ button. Text speak may be the teenage way today but this forum isn’t conducted in that way. I appreciate you may find some of the spelling and grammer hard but the effort taken will be much appreciated. You’ll get more out of the forum for yourself as well.

    2) I think LBA Rules deserves praise for raising this matter in a very well written manner.

My final thought – let’s give a 2 week bedding in period from now and see how we all get on. If EAL king makes an effort then we should make an effort too. If he doesn’t, then he’s had a fair chance and do what you will.

    regards
    wys

It gets retracted before taxi otherwise you have an aeroplane that cannot rotate!

Ren – it’s the exciting Airport Post House for us. I think it might have changed name now.

Yes, I wonder what Loganair might have been if it hadn’t been for the intervention.

Normal FM radios tune up from 87-108MHz. Aviation nav radios operate between 108-118MHz with aviation comms radios using 118-136Mhz as WD suggests. You can buy radios from stores such as Maplins which have a top end of the scale that covers the aviation band. I would suggest a radio with a digital tuner because how do you tune into a frequency that maybe silent for a minute or so until someone speaks!
