Maybe I’m showing my ignorance but I can’t find the forum at Airwise. Can you help?

Thanks gents. I must say that they sre probably the 2 very best pictures I have ever seen of our aircraft. Unfortunately I can be certain that neither is me as I didn’t volunteer to do the specific sim training involved required to operate into Innsbruck.

By the way, in case you don’t know the changeover to TCX is now 8 days away and the new callsign is GLOBE. I picked up my new uniform yesterday (much preferrred the old one!).

Thanks for that. as you say it must have been masked by the other gear in the first picture.

I hadn’t noticed before that the MD11 doesn’t seem to have any body gear like the DC10-30.

Interesting point. I really have no idea what they will do with the EZY recruits. The bus will be going to the smaller bases first so I guess the individual type will depend on where they are to be based.

They appear to be Portuguese and 1 of them is a Gatwick worker.

Thanks very much for the feedback Ren. It’s actually a bit late now as not only have the 4 guys been selected but they (and the easyJet recruits) are already in New Zealand starting their training! I would expect them to be available to start 757 training towards the end of 2004.

    cheers

Moggy – looking a bit more at the wider picture it isn’t engine noise that we struggle with but the noise of a 550mph airflow around the windscreen frames. Add to this that we endure it for up to 12 hours a day on a very repetitive basis it can lead to long term hearing deficiencies. Whether it be engine noise or airlflow noise, noise is noise.

SOFTLAD – would you agree that you find it easier to give better service to someone who has given you the courtesy of their attention during your demo?

I have nothing concrete ro support this (yet) but I think there may be a slim chance that a small part of MyTravel may find itself turning orange. MyTravel’s very affordable and available these days especially for an outfit thinking about possible 767 ops.
