The Alvis Works
CFS have all the part numbers as they overhaul these props.
Funny enough CFS are on the old Alvis works!!!
I think these are also GR.1 airframes…
The RAF have 2 sittng at Syston.
these should cost them nothing, just some transport i guess.
Nope, all of the equipment is in the nose including the radar!
Thats true Peter, the RAF took most of the countermeasures equipment from the tail after landing in 83’l.
Don’t forget it appears she is missing a good chunk of stuff from the rear stinger especially the radar scanner..?
What colours will the Victor be sporting?? Gloss Grey/Green camouflage perhaps??
Test Pilot!
I maybe wrong but I think D&D Video brought Test Pilot out on DVD??
Would love to see Test Pilot come back, an absolutely brilliant series.

Can anyone tell me what has happened on the Wessex? I know her fate is secure but was just wondering as I know someone who maybe interested in obtaining her for restoration??
Cheers Dave,
I guess it’s back to the drawing board… What about the remaining aircraft?? What hasn’t got a home yet?
Hi Phil,
The Wessex is NEAM bound
Cheers
Dave
Hi Pagen,
Can you get me info on these please?
Cheers,
Phil.
Two or three Bellman (tall & short) type hangars will be going from Saints over the next year. They will be a serious challenge to move though.
Thanks all! I will check them leads out and Gavin.. If you can get some pics, that would be great!
Any more possiblities guys?
Cheers Pagen (please read your PM’s)
There must be some semi-derelict examples around awaiting a good aviation home!
… and the Sea Hawk etc?
Light Aircraft Grey BS627
Nice one Dave,
I will chase that one up as for what I hear Newark plan to build a hangar that will house the Vulcan, Hastings and Shackleton and guess that would be a squeeze even for a T2!
Cheers!!
