The Harvard has arrived. It rasped over my head about an hour and a half ago 😀
G-CCCA has apparently arrived at Southampton.
Superb 🙂
Well done to all involved
T9 saturday am
Harvard same;
😀 I could get down there 🙂
I should be able to catch the departures then.
If they do all come in one go on Saturday I’ll miss them 🙁
I can get to Eastleigh, so I’m going there 🙂
Could it do Southampton as well?
Some SHARs are apparently going to RNAS Culdrose for the Flight Deck School.
If they operate them like they did the Hunters, the aeroplanes will be kept live and regularly taxied about.
If something does happen, perhaps these could save the day 🙂
Great! Where’s Neil hiding? 😎 Last year I arranged for DH Dragon, G-ECAN, to come. Anything special you would like me to arrange this year?
😀 I was a tiny bit involved with getting the Mk.3 Jet Provost there last year.
Not needed this time around as they are already booked in 🙂 (subject to the usuals)
Aren’t TFC restoring their Spitfire F.22 at the moment, or is it in the queue?
Me and mate in June 1999 😀
Great news. Well done to all involved.
Wouldn’t it be great if it made it to Southampton next month 🙂 (please!)
As its early in the year the number of potential aircraft to attend will be limited by servicing/annuals etc.
That’s what I suspected might happen. I hope that one or two make it though. What about ARC/HFL?
Albert’s Sea Hawk subject XE339, as it was in 1999…

Sure, we can be disappointed about the Beaufighter, but are we not lucky sods anyway?

You have hit the nail on the head there. Think of all the unique types TFC have brought to the UK over the years, the Bearcat and the Hawk 75 to mention two. Now we have the CR42 and a razorback P47G to look forward to 🙂
