    Greetings All!

I still own the Beagle B206 Series one (CC Mk1 ex-RAF)

and would like to either sell/trade it or attempt to repair.

I have a spare crated engine as well as all manuals for service manufacturing and operation and logs going back to it’s beginning.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks,

    Rick

I would LOVE to do the restoration, I just don’t have the reliable contacts that can help. Sourcing real parts has been a real problem. I am afraid someone more knowledgeable about all things Beagle would be a better owner at this point. It’s really an under-appreciated aircraft in the States. I fear most if not all the spares I need are located in the UK and shipping may be prohibitive.

    help!

    Gentlemen,
I have owned XS781 (N46880) for many years. for quite a few of them it has been languishing. I have a spare crated engine, two sets of older radios and many spares. Unfortunately, I have been unable to do anything with her as a new prop (perhaps only one blade) and a right wingtip (outboard of the dihedral) would need to be sourced/fabricated to get back in the air. I’d love to be able to fly her again. almost one thousand hours was spent flying it in the late 90’s. It’s a great airplane and was so useful in so many roles I would hate to see it get scrapped.

Can anyone assist? I would even consider selling/trading it to insure a good outcome.

    Thank you,

    Richard

I have a Series 1 in need of repair. I do have a spare crated engine.
I would very much like to repair this aircraft to flight status or sell it to someone who can.

    It was XS-781.

    More Info at:

ignore the asking price, if there is still one on the page. Also, the aircraft was moved shortly after the photos and now sits on the tarmac. I would accept flying trades as well.

    Thanks,

    Rick

You’ll forgive me if I am a bit skeptical….an e-mail I have from you dated January, 2007 talks about sending a rear fuselage to Ophelia. Seems odd that it’s been over a year and they are still in the UK.

Have you ever actually sold or delivered parts to anyone in the US? If so I’d like to chat with them. Sending funds overseas and then not receiving anything happens all too often in this world.

    Thanks,

    Rich

    David,
What Chipmunk parts? Is this for Ophelia?

    David,
If you’ll recall, I attempted to buy your prop over a year ago. All I got was aggravated. Take a look at the old email trail.

If you’d like to try again let me know privately.

    Thanks,

    Richard

    Thanks,
I believe I’ve spoken with most of those folks already. I would love to know whatever became of the spares MOD liquidated a few years ago. Also I KNOW the RAF still has some engines and props and other spares squirelled away someplace.. So far no luck finding them.

    Beagle Restoration

    Hey All,
    I have a Beagle B206 Series 1 (Basset Mk1) ex-XS-781 now N46880
that is in need of some parts and spares to get it flying again. I will need the 1 of the older style 2 bladed McCauley props and a right wingtip. Perhaps a pair of ailerons….though I can probably use the old ones.

Take a look at http://www.starweb.net/beagle for info. I may still sell it with the spare GIO-470-A engine and the rest of the spares….but I’d rather fix it and fly it.

Any help would be MUCH appreciated. I would be happy to buy out derelicts for parts. Maybe the two in Madrid?

    HELP!!!

    Rich
