    Excellent photos on the site, thanks Mark. Now, not bein a 109 expert, is this a proper 109 with german engine, Buchon type 109 or 109 with a modern / new engine? TIA, Bex

    I would have thought that if AN Other dug up a farmers field to remove an aircraft and any remains, they would wait until a time that the farmer would not have to worry about crops being ruined and that the diggers would then make sure the field was replaced as to how they found it to make sure that any damage was kept to a minimum. Perhaps the article is written in way to provoke adverse thoughts? Bex

    Amazing photo’s and thanks for sharing. If u have anymore of the EA6’s Id love to see them, Ive always the A6’s & their variants, and the EA6 is the last one left I believe 😡 Bex

    P.S: Went round Pompy today, noted all 3 of our Carriers at home and a heck of lot of the others ships at home too. Glad the RN is getting a rest for a change.

    A Question

    Evening all, I have a little question thats been bugging me. 558 has had its radar removed and a lump of metal put in its place, now, isnt the radar quite a vital part of her internal organs? And anyone know why it was removed and what is now doing its job?

    JBoyle, apparently they have a compost powered bog and its contents are to be delivered to a farm for disposal 😮 😀 Bex

    Vulcan903, dont forget it was one of the Mods who started us off on this silly course of action tee hee.

    Well, Would anyone know if 603’s nose is onloan to 558 or is 558 going to keep it as a spare?

    If 558 is to carry out its test flights from Waddo, it will be nice to hear a Vulcan roar out of there again.
