a good free one to reduce the size of photos, is “shrink pic” google it. it reduces the size of photos automatically as it runs as a system process, you jsut get a little popup notification that it has just resized a picture 😀

Hmm I cant imagine why you would post a link to a Viscount, probably the same reason why Id do the same with a Cranberry link. Very gratuitous but has to be done LoL Oh thanks for that great link Martin, am having a good look as I type :p  :diablo: Bex

    Dream List 1:

    No particular order:

    Canberra – any mk
    Lightning
    TSR2

Why these 3? All flown by Roland “Bee” Beamont.

    Dream List 2:

    No particular order:

    Sea Vixen
    Buccaneer
    Phantom

All 3 are 2 seaters, would happily sit in for a ride aslong as Capt. Eric Brown was flying to and from a PROPER aircraft carrier.

2 amazing pilots that flew amazing aircraft.

    Dave,
Thanks for the answers, atleast the possibilities are there for you, but, with all your hard work so far, if you dont go live I wouldnt blame you. As for the canopy, it will be hard enough to look after once fitted let alone just stored. Im certainly looking forwards to your finished cockpit, as until I saw your projects thread & accidently bought a set of repro pilots notes I didnt even know the plane existed!!!!! Ty for kind words about the Cranberry, oh and yes she is very big LoL Bex

    Dave,
Project looking good, amazing work. COuple of questions……..

    1. WIll it be a live cockpit
    2. Have u worked out how to make a canopy for it, or will it dare I say it, be Topless?

It wouldnt surprise me if decent managerial posts are kept for Retired military staff but it would be a crackin coup wouldnt it. You know its nice to have a little dream to play with now and again.

What would you suggest in its stead? What is Mickey Mouse about it? The RAF reckon they are onto a winner with it so why does your opinion outweigh theirs?

Now now Phil, I obviously seem to have misunderstood the title of this thread then because I was under the impression it had something to do with having my own thoughts. Ah I know where I went wrong, I made the mistake of having my own thoughts, big mistake in this country that one.

Now, I have a personal opinion that does not like the Euro fighter Typhoon for a number of reasons. Most of them down to the fact that we only bought it coz of politics which has no place in this forum, other reasons are I actually DONT LIKE the aircraft.

Ok so technologically speaking its all singing & all dancing and on a good day might make the pilot a cup of tea aswell and maybe even scratch his nose but to design an aircraft to be physically incapable of flight WITHOUT its miriad of computers defies all logic, specially in a fighter plane that might just get shot at and get a bit broken. Oh well dead easy, pull the handle away goes the bang seat and scratch a few million quids worth of aeroplane.

Finally, Youre right about the Mickey Mouse bit, it was an insult to the wonderful Mickey Mouse :diablo:

Oh WP, I saw that thread over on Historic, found it very interesting. Glad we think the same way 😀

here ya go folks, the link below should cover the “Mickey Mouse” Aeroplane presently known as “Raptor” (Canopy). Finally, Phixer is not an average armchair enthusiast folks hes been there done it worn the tee shirt, watched the video, owned the DVD and funnily enough even got his hands dirty and I would happily ask for his autograph & make him a cup of tea for the rest of his life. SOrry folks, I think those idiots that reside in Parliament aka London Zoo, sorry didnt mean to INSULT London Zoo but they need to be watched. We vote em in, they supposedly represent the people so they need to BEHAVE themselves. HOWEVER re the FOI Act, SENSIBLE exemptions need to be put aside. Bex
