EN145 served with the Italian air force as MM4116 and with the Israeli air force as 2078/78. The real identity of white “26” (SL653) in Israeli service was 2028/28 and not 2011/26.

The P-51’s went to Israeli Air Force (Al Schwimmer’s- Intercontinental Airways INC). The airport is Glindail,CA. The Mustangs were stored there for a short time until the facility in Burbank was been ready.

No it is not, the star of David on the Spitfire of 105Sqn is in blue and not in rad.

RAF Petak-Tekva AB

Hi Mark21
Will here it goes. The two photos are from Palestine around 1942-1943. RAF Petak-Tekva AB. The Hurricane belongs to an OUT unit stationed in the Air base and the Hudson to a Paratrooper school. That was operated by US/UK personnel (special operation branch).
