you also do not mention the models size , if about 1/72 size there is always the possibility a matchbox or airfix lightning model was used for making the moulds !!

I can’t find anything on the web but from experience of the specialist model making industry it is most likely that DP Carter was the name of the pattern maker who made the master model which would have been used to make the moulds for the cast metal models that you have.

it depends on lettering type realy a photo of the lettering would probably help

if cast they are usualy pattern makers lettering wich will be uniform in appearance

if an aprentice piece lettering is usualy applied by die punching so lettering isn’t as uniform

i would go for it being a cast piece though it also depends on metal type how this was achieved

as there are difrent casting methods for difrent metals mainly according to the metals melting temperature !!

It comes in handy to have a wide lens on one body and a long lens on the other. This saves time doing lens changes in a hurry.

but much more important minimises dust contamination on sensors , especialy at dry dusty airfields , i have just cleaned my sensor after just such an event ( i use my airbrush compressor ) i wouldn’t reccomend unless confident
but used carefully it is a usefull cleaner

not checked but the d5000 may have auto sensor clean , wereas the d40 has no sensor cleaning function

Cheers Big Brother is no more, but just what sort of low level idiotic rubbish will fill the space.

I can`t understand the constant demand for more channels etc, there are simply not enough programmes worth watching to fill the existing channels.

channel 4 have dicided to spend the budget on drama instead – the reason you are getting this is england 86 presently !!

and whatever they have in the pipeline later

posibly a return to the channels early days when it produced some superb gritty dramas !!

The easiest thing to do is to read the interim report and draw judgement from that .

interesting reading with a catalogue of serious questions to answer !!

the main one being wether jets of that complexity should be in private operators hands !!
