i seem to remember the last german chancellor that tried to start a one europe monetary scheme
short chap , small tash , one kn*cker !!

The fact that you look down upon young people does not make them the deaths waiting to happen that you seem to believe. The people that are the biggest risk on the road on motorbikes are middle aged men who are born again bikers. Mid life crisis, buys motorbike, pushes it too far, dies. Younger riders have a chance to make mistakes on small bikes, 50cc and 125cc motorbikes, so when they come off while learning they are far less likely to die. Middle aged men think they know it all, so they go out thinking they are the best riders going, hop on the fastest most bad ass bike and stick it straight into a tree.
Warning to ‘born again bikers’
“North Wales Police say most bikers killed are likely to be white men aged 35 or over, from the north west of England or the Midlands, who have recently returned to motorcycling.”

In the last decade there has been a notable rise in motorcycle accidents, and police are suggesting that men in their 30s and 40s are largely at fault.

it is a very true point i’m returning to motorcycles after a long break i made my mistakes on small machines the trouble with most is they don’t accept they’re not young anymore and don’t have the reflexes or body for knocks they had when younger
they invariably have the money to do the direct access and jump on practicaly any high performance machine they like without the experince
of roadcraft on a smaller machine
the turbo blackbird for instance was capable of in excess of 200 mph
and a mid life crisis type could pass his test on a mid sized bike in the morning and be taking it for a burn with little experience in the afternoon
bikings meant to be fun a lot of the mr mid life crisis mans choices are not suitable machines
a 250 superdream would be an ideal after test bike , an economical , reliable , 4 stroke plodder then maybe a 400 or 500 cc old plodder
the types of bikes chosen by mr mid life crisis are not suitable till after a good few years experience !!

This is because Motorbikes are inherently driven/ridden by young idiots that die looking cool at speed.
No rules on motorbikes are hard enough for the UK.And, where is the competition being spoilt here?
total twaddle !!the biggest percentage of motorcycles are sold to mid life crisis types nowadays
the young tend to have scooters /but only till they get cars
the last motorcycle accident near my home was an off duty copper that hit a car on a large motorcycle and killed a female pedestrian and injured both her kids
for extra intrest the bike shouldn’t have been on the road either because it was un taxed !!
isn’t it meant to be the police that have to be whiter than white ?? still as long as he was happy nicking teenagers for doing 35 on thier scooters in a 30 limit i guess it has to be right

Again, you’re assuming all the cases had the same (lack) of evidence.
I’m sure there were many?most cases where they had the guy “dead to rights”.
that’s just the thing though , there is no such thing as dead to rights there is however sure as you can be with certain evidence
there was a recent case of a lad nearly getting charged with murder through D.N.A evidence ( that is obviously non falible )
luckily a copper overheard someone bragging in a pub about planting a cigarette butt to shift the blame otherwise someone innocent would have been serving time
some things are often not as clear cut as we delude ourselves into thinking they are

With respect, there is a considerable difference between the category of felon remembered at Brookwood, the nature of their demise and the deaths in service of other less than savoury types who, nonetheless, may have later died in rather more honourable circumstances.
i realy don’t understand the difrence they both would have served and both would be crimminals or do your morals conveniently seperate things for your convenience !!
either they are crimminals or not !!
therefore you would find you would have to remove a lot more names than those stated !!

Tornado…I do hope you’re really not suggesting that just because Evans seems to be innocent, that everyone who received the death penalty is innocent.
As far as bad guys being honored. Here’s something to consider…
In WWII, the sheer numbers of men in service (in all countries lest you think I’m having a dig at the commonwealth) meant that there were more than a few murders, rapists etc*. who later served and were killed while in the service.
They’re buried and remembered along with the good.* not to mention lesser crimes..thieves, thugs, wife beaters, bigamists, and various sins…drunks, adulterers, liars, cheats…
what we have to remember is the crime rate rose tremendously during war time ( including murder ) therefore it is logical to conclude an over streatched less than perfect system could wrongly convict someone
looting and murder became rife ( compared to normal ) because who could prove any difrent that a body dragged out of a bombed out building was anything other than a bomb victim
there was one case of a black service man that was convicted and beaten for rape and murder that was later pardoned by eisenhower as it was found out he was actualy in a relationship with her and innocent !!

your last sentence is fair , but we have to have a system that can be trusted first , whilst yes it can be said it is the fairest , there is the other side of the coin that says it is often wrong
files of paperwork mean zilch to me i dare say there were reams of paperwork on all the others they hung innocently saying they were evil b*stards !!

tosh second only to your tedious predictable bile !!
it is a valid point that our legal system was primative then ( and is still getting it wrong with DNA evidence today )
given added pressure of war and the witchunt mentality that exhisted then there is a distinct possibility of unsound convictions
it may well be the case that they are 100 % guilty
but shutting the door to the possibility of innocence merely puts you with the witch hunters
