100% legal the owners own the property therefore if they have given permision for it to be done etc

fail to see the difrence between cctv and a photo

from what i get regularly in shops that passes for service a lot of staff are long overdue a shake up

at the end of the day the company pays for work not a social club

there are plenty around that would be glad of a job and work to stay in them at present

unfair probably but if there’s knowledge that mystery shoppers go in the person caught only has themselves to blame

i have been in shops where an alleged sales person has been chatting away to a friend and has served me as a customer as an inconvenience to her planning her evening out !!

just recently where i work i have been given a 20 yr old team mate to work with
he is in a very responsible job and yes he does go clubing

but he is very mature very responsible and an excellent worker that can be trusted to get on with the job

    thiey’re not all the same

nothing but sheer greed has put us where we are now selling off and squandering what previous generations had worked bloody hard for

personaly i feel the poorer countries that we are still too blind to realise are the new world leaders are going to be there and we are still too blind to stop buying ( not that you can buy british anymore anyway )

i reccon we should take payment in olives off greece , parmesan off italy ( wine prefrably ) and pay ours off in real ale ..

    everyone would be happier

houses £125,000 for a 2 bed terraced house , i think i have worked out the problem on that they’re £90,000 overpriced

not often i’ll say this but peedee is correct to some degree he is correct about the grey card and grass being great to meter from tarmac also falls in there and some concrete surfaces

he’s correct about the sun at mid day if you absolutely have to shoot at that time an overcast day is better as cloud cover difuses the harsh sunlight hence difrent white balance settings for cloud and sunlight

mornings or prefrebly evenings are far better for light though

it isn’t realy a case of knowing how to use the camera ( that will give fine results as good as dslrs given it’s correct working field )

it isn’t even realy a case of knowing how to use photoshop ( a bad picture is still a bad picture even after photoshop manipulation )

it comes down to the basic knowledge that was as true on film as it is on digital

knowing what is good light to shoot in

” there’s only one good thing to do with a camera around mid day , and that’s leave it in your bag !!”

ken rockwell is best avoided from a raw begginers point of view , there is the odd golden nugget from him but they are few and far between
and also if evryone listened to him there would be no other camera but nikon

having said that the D60 is a superb camera in essence it is the same as the new D3000/3100 models as it uses the same sensor

it’s very little to do with the camera and is something hard to remedy even if shot in raw

it is more how some red paint pigments behave to cameras in bright sunlight

the best solution is to shoot on a more overcast day in less harsh light

i tried every trick in the book once on a fuji s8000 bridge camera the heli i was shooting was fire engine red

but the camera registered it as pink no matter what settings were used all the colour would turn out as was pink or magenta

also of note is that i struggled just as much with a dslr on a very simmilarly coloured heli in simmilar strong harsh light

by the time i had stepped the camera down enough to get the red the quality was awful

the red was too harsh with no depth and altering the white balance will only make other colours wrong
