They both look like awesome ships so my vote would make them both winners. I would build 27 LCS-1 Freedom Class ships for the Atlantic fleet and build 27 LCS-2 Independence Class ships for the Pacific fleets.
The Air Force should have done this with the YF-22 and the YF-23 and put both fighters into service.

    Baynunah Class Corvette

I do not know how they got a 4-cell Mk.56 ESSM vertical launch system in front of that 76mm cannon!! Looks like this design might suffer from top weight problems too!

not that USA would ever chose to fight over Taiwan in the first place.

Are you implying the USA would not fulfill her treaty obligations by not defending Taiwan in a war with China?

Realistically their role is closer to that of a cruiser.

Not really aviation related but the third pic has a guard armed with a FN F2000 assault rifle. Is this rifle in widespread use with the Pakistani forces??

Even under option A, IMHO, China would treat them as German products with all due consequences.

    Consequences.. Like what?

U.S. Navy’s last conventionally powered submarines were 3 Barbel class subs (1956-1959).

Are you implying the USA could not design and build a conventionally powered submarine?

The US. is preparing to sell German-made submarines to Taiwan.

How can the US sell a German product?? Wouldn’t Germany be selling the submarines to Taiwan? I wonder how they decided on the Type-214.

Perhaps they are going to fit something else there? Second OTO 76mm? Golakeeper CIWS? More Harpoons? Extra Barak silo?…

Hopefully they will fit Barak-8 in that position to give the ship a medium range air defense system.

Algeria is buying a lot of military equipment lately. If they did purchase these three warships will they still be interested in the six FREMM frigates were interested in buying???

What about adding catapults and an angled flight deck to the gas-turbine powered America Class Amphibious Assault Ship? It would be less than 50,000 tons which is a perfect size for Brazil. She could carry sixteen Rafales, eight EC-735 helicopters, and E-2D down the road.

South Africa could provide Ingwe & Mokopa anti tank missiles and Umkhonto air defense missiles.

not trying to be rude but this force structer seems only good for blue water high intensity combat operations its not very flexible in my book

My Coast Guard would take care of the other stuff!

Buy an old Soviet Carrier from Russia. Pay 500 million for the carrier and the refit but after 10 years of delays and re-negotiations pay a total of 35 billion but India already beat me too it. 🙂
