So it proves that UNLESS you deliberately go out looking for stuff relating to Hendon it is a big secret–not really putting the message out is it?.
Of course you could always sign up to the eNewsletter and then you don’t have to ‘deliberately go out looking for stuff relating to Hendon’ as they will let you know about stuff going out at Hendon. And Cosford if you want.

Was it advertised? this is the first i knew about it.
On their web site and on Facebook.
All these people who profess an interest in RAFM Hendon but don’t know what’s going on there. Dear, dear.

There is a bus stop virtually outside the main gate and the tube is a five minute walk away.
When I left an hour ago, it was quite busy mainly with kids running around.
Slightly off topic, I’m at the Tower of London and first time I’ve seen a 21 gun salute. For the Queens birthday I was told.

And where at Duxford would they go? Little enough room for their own exhibits.

I visited the dismantled aircraft in the BoB Hall. All very interesting, but, I am dumbstruck by the fact this wonderful hall is being closed and its items dispersed.
How has this come as a surprise when we were posting photos of the aircraft in the BoB Hall being dismantled
and posted various links at the time to what was going on at Hendon.

The Black Cats stopped for fuel on the way to the Berlin Airshow:
Yeovilton to Duxford then Berlin. Taking the scenic route were they?

Well I enjoyed my four day’s at Duxford despite the almost winter cold conditions this morning. There seemed to be more visitors today than on Saturday and it was strange seeing the fields and mound south-side devoid of people. A thousand plus photos to go through but one caught my eye from today, the rest will be posted in the airshow section in a couple of days.

We call it the Lancaster Hangar. Why complicate things.
