It’s the Met Office fault for giving them names.

Probably only a matter of time before they start charging extra for going on the Friday.

They tried that a few years ago turning Friday into a Special Interest day I think they called it. Along with quite a few others, we e-mailed who ever was in charge at Duxford at the time voicing our disgust at being charged extra to see aircraft that would be arriving anyway that day and they backed down.

Are we all going to fit in the viewing extension tacked on the side of the new hangar?

Some where to shelter when it starts raining at air shows though.:D

I thought Father Christmas had already outsourced his toy manufacturing to China and Taiwan.

Did you read the comments below it?

    RCINFORMER
that was cool… but did you make any effort to check the airspace above or get any kind of permission to send that up into that airspace… That can present quite a danger to aircraft and people in the ground…

As well as a new hangar going up at Duxford, there was supposed to be an American Honour Guard sculpture erected outside the AAM where the Wurzburg radar dish used to stand.

    Yes and no.

I bought a DELL Precision M4700 laptop two years ago, half price on Black Friday deal, just to do photographs on. It was on Windows 7 and I’ve upgraded to Windows 10. Upgraded Elements 12 to 14 and thought I might have problems with the 80MP uncompressed RAW files I’ve started using. Camera RAW software was upgraded by Adobe and so far no problems. SO FAR. 😀

But…. I suppose it had to have an American in it somewhere. I believe they are using the Britannia :highly_amused: as the aircraft Princess Elizabeth returned from Kenya in.

You get side swiped by the site mini-bus 5 years ago, and after what seemed like half of Cambridgeshire’s ambulances, paramedics, police and the flying doctor turning up and you never hear the end of it. 😀

There should be film of it as there was enough TV cameras around as Ewan McGreggor was there filming with the Spitfires for a documentary.
