For many years I have been happily making white balance corrections in Photoshop to images not shot in RAW.

    Moggy

So do I, and still do in Elerments.

Is there a way to find out about any flights or engine runs before actually going to Dux, say a week or a few days or more in advance?

I want to make a trip there in January, but would like to make the most of it. A p47 engine run would be excellent, but would also be great to catch something (anything) in the air.

    Short answer is No.

I’m going tomorrow for my 79th visit of the year and I still haven’t seen the P-47 do an engine run, and there is no guarantee as to anything going flying, doing engine runs or even Terrence the Tug playing musical aeroplanes.

Last I heard, Hangar 5 was earmarked for the London exhibits once the B-17 and Vampire are finished and moved out.

But I stand to be corrected. :p

IWM London is closing for a couple of years for a massive refurbishment. Exhibits are being moved to Duxford for restoration/storage.

This was bad as there was no mention of it as you came in nor any reduction in the price.

I’m sure I’ve seen notices at the main entrance saying Hangar 3 and Land Warfare are closed for the winter and the £14.50 is a price reduction. Normal entrance is £16.50.
