I think Air Transat at GLA use the A330 for Vancouver and Calgary flights and the A310 for YYZ? i might be wrong.

What is the 4 course meal like? small, big? Do you really get free drinks for all the flight including pre take-off? What is the seat back tv system like? cheers in advance 😀

Ah well I used SDQ a few years ago and will be using POP (Puerto Plata) this summer and was just wondering if flights still use SDQ. So guesing its just Punta cana, Puerto Plata and La Romana for charters in the Dominican Republic?

Mmmm so far this season there has been 2x A321’s, no 757’s and an A330 passing through.

I’ll check with “someone” on Tuesday then.

Yes, it was a 777 which was a great aircraft. I remember flying back once and they used a B767 which cheesed me off as it did not have the video screens in the back of the seats. As LFC24 said BA have now discontinued the service not just due to the terrorist threat but also due to falling passenger numbers. I flew back just before the start of the Iraq war on a 777 and there was a total of 17 passengers including myself.

Wow that is a low load of pax. Are there still any direct flights from the UK to Saudi?

I don’t get it why here in Scotland the media and Scottish Executive keep papping on about a 2nd runway at either GLA or EDI. The fact of the matter is neither of these airports need a 2nd runway. Look at LHR 60+m passengers a year from 2 runways, put Scotland’s 4 main airports together (GLA-EDI-PIK-ABZ) and you still don’t get anywhere near 60m passengers. LGW does just fine with 1 runway and it carries more passengers then GLA and EDI combined. Screw a 2nd runway and put the money into the terminal buildings that need expanded and the apron areas.

Dont know about BWIA but i can tell you that EUJet will not be returning to GLA.
