The timing of this bull rumour is great lol, AA Glasgow to Chicago just been put on sale at americanairlines.co.uk
They are back on the 4th of June.
This is not official and the rumour has been around before.
AA will be back in Glasgow next summer as always.
Nice pics, did you get any shots of the FCA 767 going to Cancun?
Not sure about all the routes but Manchester-Glasgow-Orlando-Glasgow-Manchester is definitely a 744.
I flew on this http://www.airliners.net/open.file/0313168/L/ from Glasgow to Larnaca and back again.
I have also flown on a American Airlines MD11.
At Glasgow they will be used on the Southampton and Birmingham routes.
Cheers guys.
So how many, and what types of aircraft are they operating?
Also what tour operator is using them for the GRO flights, they also start CWL-GRO next was fri (Was supposed to be last fri but was non-op)
Dont think they use a tour operator, they are a scheduled airline so all flights get booked on their website or by calling their call centre.
That ones been doing the rounds for years. Will need to see that one to believe it, unless you have an official source ?
Sadly not, like you said need to see it to believe it.

Globespan will no longer use Air Transat as their main agent for their UK-Canadian routes from October 2006. Tour Operator Canadian Affair has taken over Air Transat as their main supplier of flights to the UK. They Canadian Affair currently use Thomas Cook Airlines and My Travel Airlines Aircraft
So now Globespan will now be offering seats on a code-sharing basis on the weekly flights from Belfast Int’l, which is currently operated by Zoom. Zoom will also be code sharing on the newly announced Liverpool – New York Route.
Globespan Holidays services from Birmingham, Exeter, Newcastle, Manchester, Glasgow and Gatwick will also be changing to be either operated by GSM or Zoom aircraft next summer
Now i hope that makes sence.
Their is no code-share on the NYC route, check out http://www.flyzoom.com. What would be the point on that considering Zoom don’t fly to either EWR or Liverpool? The only routes with a code share will be the Toronto routes.
I’m not sure if they have loaded all code-share flights onto the GSM site as it’s a bit odd just code-sharing on Toronto flights, plus Gatwick-Ottawa is book able on the GSM site but none of their other Canadian routes from Gatwick and Glasgow to places like Calgary, Halifax, Ottawa and Vancouver are book able.
Also on sale is BFS-YYZ from Nov’06 operating once a week.
Best Regards
Thats not a new flight, its just a code-share on the existing Zoom flights from Belfast, they are code-sharing on all UK-Toronto flights.
I dont like double drop flights
I would be pretty pissed off if I had booked a direct flight from Glasgow to Orlando and you get told its via Belfast. They changed the leg room on flights after people had paid for business class seats, seems they are quite pissed off in the reviews I have read on the net.
I swear this airline just pull city names out of a hat and operate flights between them.
Still good news for BFS.
I think FlyBe are just far more popular on this route. Every time I have flew on the route it has been pretty much full.
Don’t worry about it Danny, I just think it’s funny :). If anyone ever wanted to see my private messages, i’ll give them my password, I have absolutely nothing to hide!
