Globespan will no longer use Air Transat as their main agent for their UK-Canadian routes from October 2006. Tour Operator Canadian Affair has taken over Air Transat as their main supplier of flights to the UK. They Canadian Affair currently use Thomas Cook Airlines and My Travel Airlines Aircraft
So now Globespan will now be offering seats on a code-sharing basis on the weekly flights from Belfast Int’l, which is currently operated by Zoom. Zoom will also be code sharing on the newly announced Liverpool – New York Route.
Globespan Holidays services from Birmingham, Exeter, Newcastle, Manchester, Glasgow and Gatwick will also be changing to be either operated by GSM or Zoom aircraft next summer
Now i hope that makes sence.
Their is no code-share on the NYC route, check out http://www.flyzoom.com. What would be the point on that considering Zoom don’t fly to either EWR or Liverpool? The only routes with a code share will be the Toronto routes.
I’m not sure if they have loaded all code-share flights onto the GSM site as it’s a bit odd just code-sharing on Toronto flights, plus Gatwick-Ottawa is book able on the GSM site but none of their other Canadian routes from Gatwick and Glasgow to places like Calgary, Halifax, Ottawa and Vancouver are book able.
