Hi John
Always a pleasure mate, glad to help
I got a First Time Pass mate so I am over the moon, all the hard work has paid off, now all I need to do is land a job with an airline 😉

Nice piccies, she looks great, shame I couldn’t get any myself of her coming into Filton, I picked her up on the scanner, if rwy 27 was active she would have come straight over my house, but 09 was, what a great view the motorists would have got as she passed over the M5 on short finals.
Thanks Irv
Certainly interesting reading
Dean
Thanks Caz
I thought it was next week until I heard them say it on Soccer AM this morning, we lose an hr, oh well, small price to pay for the lighter nights

Do a google search for WideFS
I am sure this is what you want

Hold down CTRL and then hold down Q John to move down, to move up it’s CTRL SHIFT Q
Hope this helps
Dean
John is this FS2004 or FSX?
For FS2004 holding CTRL and pressing Enter will move your view downwards so you can “see over the cockpit”, and holding ALT and pressing DELETE will move it back up
Standby for the FSX keys, I have to boot it up
Ian thanks for the reassurance, to say I wasn’t looking forward to the IR is true, but now it’s done I most certainly am not looking forward to a Type Rating, oh the fear of failure 😉
You’re right about the MCC, it is just a tick in the box, nice to do it on a full motion to get that experience but learning it in depth is probably futile.
Must settle the nerves down and enjoy what is ahead, afterall the main bulk of the training is out the way.
This forum was created for people to post their photos, and whilst everyone will endeavor to post quality photos the points raised so far regarding the fact that people haven’t got the equipment to take good photos is valid, and they should not be put off posting, if an individual has taken the time and effort to go out for the day and take some photos and take time to upload them then we should receive them with open arms (which we do).
This is a hobby for most, and if the best someone can produce, be it for lack of skill or lack of equipment is not a good standard so what 🙂
I’d hate for someone to be discouraged due to those reasons.

I have had issues where my CD drive has vanished from “My Computer”, a simple restart sorts that out, failing that, put it back in the other drive and then go to My Computer, double click the drive, then when the window comes up double click on the exe file which should be labelled something like “FSX”, this will also be a small icon file, then install from there

:edited: mate sorry, I meant to say a “simple restart” not “re-install”
Andrew, it still belonged to someone, exactly who is totally irrelevant 🙂
Many congratulations Phantom 😀 well done, knew you could do it 😉
Oldies but goodies, the one that still makes me laugh is The only time you have too much fuel is when you’re on fire. 😀
There is no difference, and both cases are so wrong. nothing gives anyone the right to take anything that doesn’t belong to them, picture this, if you had bought your kids (if you had any) a brand new bike for Christmas and someone stole it, is that right? how would it make you feel? you’d want to knock his/her block off, condolences to the families of the lost ones.
