I am pretty sure you need a program called “WideFS”, do a google search and see what you come up with, if we can be of further assistance let us know

Assuming you mean FS2004 (also works in FSX) why don’t you just pull up the GPS and enter the airport ICAO code into the DIRECT TO command? it will then give you a desired track (Magnetic) to the airport
?

If it’s free it can stay
There is a commercial element to your site but the majority is free, as long as it’s the free bits that you post about then there should not be an issue 😉

An ATCO’s worst nightmare, it’ll take a special ATCO to sort that lot out 😀
This winds me up, I saw the local news tonight with this prat on there, the quoted time on the news was 15 minutes holding, LIKE the runway will dry enough in time in 15 minutes if this were the issue, I was flying in and out of Bristol yesterday and today, and we had crosswinds of 15kts, the TAF reported them getting alot stronger by the evening along with driving rain, this is not ideal conditions regardless of where you are trying to put the plane down.
As usual, drivel coming from someone who knows absolutely nothing about aviation at all, and what is even worse is that the BBC does absolutely no research on it at all, they just report what is told.
Murph, have you tried shutting down the exe’s I listed? as well as the Zone Alarm? and also have you changed your flightsim screen setting from window to full or visa versa?
If so then there are a couple more things I want you to try, I’ll type them out tomorrow

John
I’ll help you sort this out sometime in the next couple of days, bear with me
Dean
No worries at all 🙂
Ok Ollie, first, browse to where your 737-800 default plane is located, this is typically C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesMicrosoft Flight Simulator XSimObjectsAirplanes
Open up the B737_800 folder and locate the “aircraft” cfg file which should be a notepad file, if it isn’t then open it up using notepad by right clicking on it, and then select “open with” then select notepad.
Once you have it open you will see a list of 737s starting with [fltsim.0] the next aircraft is listed as [fltsim.1] and then the next as [fltsim.2], you see the trend? ok, by default you should have 6 737s if you have the deluxe version of FSX, what you need to do is to browse to the last plane i.e. [fltsim.5] (because the 1st one is labelled 0) and then copy and paste the info from the readme file from your Ryanair download which should be this:-
[fltsim.X]
title=Boeing 737-800 Ryanair
sim=Boeing737-800
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=ryr
kb_checklists=Boeing737-800_check
kb_reference=Boeing737-800_ref
atc_id=EI-DCK
atc_airline=Ryanair
atc_flight_number=5613
ui_manufacturer=”Boeing”
ui_type=”737-800″
ui_variation=Ryanair
ui_typerole=”Commercial Airliner”
ui_createdby=”Microsoft Corporation”
description=”One should hardly be surprised that the world’s most
Now at the top of this one you should see [fltsim.X], once this whole list has been copied and pasted into your 737 config file you need to change the X to the next number in sequence, so I have 6 planes, and as the first numbered plane is 0 I need to change this X to 6, get it?
Ok, when you have pasted it over and changed the number to the next in sequence just make sure there is a space between your last aeroplane list and the next line which should be [General], save and close the config, next you should have had a texture folder with the RyanAir download called Texture.ryr, cut and paste this into your default B737_800 folder where you should see more Texture folders typically named Texture.1 etc
This is it mate, fire up Flightsim and enjoy 🙂

Can you clarify this info for me please.
Can you confirm anything “Logitech” on your PC? also can you confirm you have THE latest video AND Sound Card Drivers available?
Dean
Also, do you run FS in full screen or in Window mode? whichever it is try the opposite, because if this seems to make it better this could reveal a few things about your system
In theory yes, give me a few hrs as I am off out tonight and I’ll have the answer for you
