You would never realise how many people sign up on these forums to post a virus on here, you are a new user and posted an arbitrary URL (arbitrary to flight sim users). This could quite easily have been a virus.

Please don’t look upon this as a fix-all situation. You may get 80% of what you (we) want, you may get 30% or less, the bottom line is whatever comes out of it will be better than before yes?
As for the webmaster, to be fair to him this forum is only a small part of the big picture that is his responsibility, I don’t think for one minute he hides away (infact I know). Any effort he puts in here is generally in his spare time at home. This is why he hired mods in the first place.

One thing is for sure is that he is already listening because we already have the photo & trip forum back here, and he has posted at the top of the forum about hiring a mod or 2. Seriously if you want to be considered then you need to put your name down or at least recommend someone who you think would a) want to do it and b) be suitable for the role.

Guys this thread is moving in the right direction. I am assured the webmaster will make a comment and then close this thread, so if you want more discussed I’d get on with it.
It will be closed when we have a concise direction to move in.

I’ll ask about the trip report forum, I think you are the only one who has stated a preference to move it back, is this the case with the rest of you?

As for your suggestions oneleft.

1. See above 😉 and the photo forum is back already.
2. I’d like to think that is how I moderate right now. I can’t remember the last thread I moved etc.
3. See 2, (Paul it isn’t me being defensive, I can only answer for myself 😉 )
4. I’m not sure you’ll be granted this oneleft, but please guys don’t forget that this thread has been posted by the webmaster.
