An-32p firebomber. Remember seeing one of these do a drop at either Paris or Farnborough but cannt remember which.
Skilled yes, but their display is no more enjoyable than the ones from our collection of ‘local’ pilots. The OFMC and TFC pilots are every bit as good.
Spot on!
Im not trying to be negative about the team but with all the hype that was about on thier last visit I was expecting to be blown away and unfortunatly I wasn’t.
I will still be watching them and photographing away like a gud un anyway!
I really dont know what all the fuss is about. Its not the first time they have been here and to be honest I wasnt overly impressed by them the last time.

I have not edited them yet but you get the idea! I know they are not the greatest shots but these were with my lens set to 100mm…yes they were that low!
An unbelievable sight and sound.

I know that parts for Hawks are made in Redditch, but there are a few industries here the are involved in aviation. The company is still up and running but I have been told they have changed thier name possibly to Aeroquip but I am not 100% certain on this.

Spotted from Kemble yesturday 5 biplanes probably going to Filton, WWI team?
Also at Birdlip near Gloster a white biplane possibly a Stampe around 6ish
Any ideas?
If it helps the shots on my site http://www.outflankeduk.com were all taken at the tank museum end. I use a canon EOS 30D and a 100-300mm lens. I use shutter priority (250 for props and 500-1000 for jets)
Thanks for the comments.
The Seafire takeoff was amazing, although others on here disagreed!
Its a B-52H. As far as I know they are the only type of B-52 flying at the moment. They have had these sensors for years.
I was waiting for one of these to show up! I was going to post one of mine but im still bevering away sorting my shots out.
Did this happen on Saturday as well?
I was given a map when I drove in and there were large maps around the static area. Pity you missed them but at least you now know for your next visit.

Yeah it flew today. When I arrived in the morning the top engine panel was off so they might have had a problem yesturday.
