I enjoyed the show and concidering the wind they did a great job, although the aniversary flypast was a waste of time talk about a well spaced flypast!
Has anybody got a log of the static civil stuff. I have a checklist but didnt tick them off as I assumed every thing would be there both days….how wrong was I !

The ARCO one and the Eads one were already on the FRIAT list before the other one appeared but they do have a habit of doubling up!
Heres hopeing that there will be 3.

The smokewinders do this all the time, mainly when they are pulling g though. I cant believe the one year I dont go and they get the special Belgian Seaking!

We used to get loads over here in Redditch as well but when they changed the air corridors the other year they dissapeared, but we stilll get the USAF airlifters coming over on thier way to Germany. I watch them out of my living room window…how lazy is that!

Thurlaston..now theres a blast from the past! When I lived there in the late 70’s I counted 48 miltary aircraft in one day……..how things have changed!

Spotted from the Astwood Bank Vintage Rally in Worcestershire were the Great WWI team, 1 possibly 2 Tornado’s, 2 Venom’s all from the Cosford show and what looked like one of the Spartan Executives North(ish) and then comming back the other way an hour later. Can anyone confirm this, or was it a Yak 18T?

I would just ask that the yellow hi-vis jackets get out of the way by the time the flight line walk is opened – let the press etc take their close ups before the flight line opens, there’s nothing more annoying than having bright yellow (and orange) jackets getting in the way, re-enactors I can put up with.

This was stopped after the last Flying Legends show so you have no worries about that one.

I noticed that as well. I was hoping its just a coincidence and they are USA based aircraft in the same sceme.

Thanks for the offer but I have to pop into work…retail,holidays and aircraft just dont mix!
I will certainly keep the offer of working 963 in mind though. I work every other Saturday but if I have a free one I will let you know.
