Bonzo and Moon all the way, I mean, if you listen a piece of music that you heard the first time and you can tell right away thats Bonzo or Moon playing in it. With how many other drummers you can tell that? Having unique style and sound is IMO one of the most appriciated feature in any musican.

Well I cannot say I’ve listen alot of Beatles in the sense that I have listen other groups and specially of their drummers. Still the rare occasions when I’ve seen Ringo playing live reveals that he is is actually one hell of a drummer.

The proplem to determine what makes you a good drummer is that unlike with guitarist for exable who plays solos and due mainstream rocks emphasis on the guitar sound, drummers exspecially in the old days were too much in the backround. Thats basicly same as with bassist and rythm guitarist. Drummers play the song and build up the structure for it, but unless there is a drumsolo, 90% of everyday people fails to listen what the drummer actually does. Ofcourse there are drummers like the mentioned Keith Moon and Bonzo who makes sure that they wont be “left behind”, but that doesen’t mean that drummers with not-so-bombastic style could be good. You just need to listen them more carefully…so be like me, I listen Jimi hendrix’s songs mostly becouse of Mitch Mitchel:diablo::p

I think the whole progress of evolution is to create a spiecies that can go flying among the stars and earth is just a stepping stone to it. If we destroy the earth, then I think we are ment to destroy it in just to give us better reason to start space traveling.

Yeah…such would require some extensive commitment from the moderators there, but It could be doneable. I’ve personally taken part of creating a chinese related military forum that was (still is) almost 90% free of any typical fanboy flaming and assorted…but it took huge ammount of time and determination.

Back then the naval forum was closed also, but ressuerected in excuse of naval aviation…and look it now, good old naval matter forum with only small percentage of pure naval aviation talk.

Project 1154 was follower to the pr. 1124 design. The design required much more advanced and extensive systems than the 1124 design so it eventually crew out to be even bigger than pr. 1135 design. Somewhere along the line the Soviets begun to consider the trends abroad and the advent of multipurpose frigates like F70 and OHP and the idea of following these trends where assigned to the pr. 1154 design.

Bashing seals over the head to take the number of them down is plain and utterly unethical and stupid.

    Simple.

Yeas I agree…Imagine to be a seal…a basicly a mamal, but still as nimble as snail on dry land and then some hairless monkey comes to club to you into death, and You can only protest with foul words and such as without any limbs its hard to give honest fight back …Atleast when shot, you can tell other animals, “hey I never had any change as they took me from such range”, but try to tell them how you got clubbed to death…:(
