I remember being taught in school about the Israelis being oppressed by the Arab people, so where was this done if not where Israel stands now…were they oppressed in Brazil or something???

Funny, becouse I remeber taught in school that UK and other former colonial powers wanted to ease their conscience by giving the jews that they didn’t care much either some payback from the nazis work…And looked at the map and discovered that they had colonizased (or at least held it at the moment) the palestinian country, also happened to be the jews “promised land”…so all jews can go there (not being europeas proplem anymore)

…there just happens to live some few million arabs on the area (have lived for centuryes now)…who cares about some arabs…

I would like to ask anybody who thinks that the Palestinians would stop these attacks against Israel if they pulled out of the “occupied territories” and “left them alone” then why is it many Palestianian groups..including Hamas…have stated that they will not rest until Israel is no more? Do u think the Israeli’s should just sit back and let the terrorists…that’s what they are, not freedom fighters…wipe them out?

Haven’t you heard the news?? Hamas is willing to “indirectly” recognize Israel in order to get their difference sorted out between Fatah…

Some people don’t realise that the Palestianians won’t be happy until Israel no longer exists and all I can say is the Palestianians should consider themselves lucky I ain’t in charge of Israel cos people wouldn’t be asking if Israel has nukes, and Palestine, Syria, Iran and any other country that threatened to wipe out my people would be unihabitable

Well with all do respect, but it seems that some people wont just realize that Palestinians like any other normal people just want to live in peace and see their childrens crowing…Ofcourse there are individuals who wont rest untill Israeli is driven to the sea, but the majority of palestinians just want to live normal life. And thats where Israel have got wrong, and can just blaim himself form all terrorist attacks mad against them. You see Hamas won the elections becouse their ground breaking work in normal community level, providing health care and teaching, a stuff that should be privileged to all no matter hwere their live. Israel in other hand just builds walls and stuff and want to isolate palestinains…but them in camps and stuff…
I asked about the difference of NI and Israeli case, but quess our dear PhantomII was too busy to awnser it…so let me do it for you…In northern Ireland, the normal people are treated like any other UK citizen, they have the same benefits and oblications wheter they where protestants or catholics. Israel in other hand treats palestinians as a carbage people and uses aparheid politics to seperate them form the pure jewish race. So why there is terrorism…hmm…

If Israel would have let Palestinians live normal life in their own towns and villages and giving them equal rights as jews, the level of resistance would be propaply same level as ETA in baskilands or IRA in Norhtern Ireland…but if country is based on promise in some fairtalebook written couple thousand years ago, can you really espect any reasonable actions from it :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
