Oh and flybe will shortly be taking delivery of some Avro RJ-100’s (ex-Turkish machines) which will replace some of the older 146’s.

Flybe will be operating three 733’s this Summer from Astraeus, these are… STRE, STRI and STRJ. They only have STRE at the moment and whilst they are waiting they are using a -700 STRH in full Astraeus which is based at BHX.

The airline is looking at both the A319 and the 737-700. If the 737 ops are successful this summer… expect an announcement for one of the types.

Nice to see another BY 763 painted up…
With OBYJ painted up, that now only leaves OBYH and BYAI in the old BY colours. Unless these have now been painted???….
Can’t believe how fast BY have painted up their planes…especially their 767 fleet.

Also nice to see BMI painting up a few more ERJ-145’s with RJXA now painted up. Now time for an A321 to be painted up!

I have it down as a 142 too on those flights. The airline uses both the 146 and the DH4 through out the week though.

Flybe are currently basing G-STRE (733) in full flybe colours and G-STRF (73G) in Astraeus colours at BHX from yesterday. Flybe are still waiting for the other 733 deliveries. Flybe currently basing a Hola 733 at SOU I think?

G-STRE was operating flights to Belfast and Scotland Friday and Saturday I believe so that flybe Cabin Crew can get some experience and training. Flybe started their 737 ops yesterday to Spain & Portugal.

Whilst at work yesterday I spotted lots of Astraeus flight crew passing through the airport. Unsure if flybe have their own crew on their 733. They definately dont on the 73G.

I think flybe will be using these 733’s up until new aircraft are delivered. No new aircraft have been ordered as yet. Rumoured to be either the 737-700 or the A319.

I was also at MAN sat too and I spotted G-MONR in the new cols. Do they only have one A300 based?

The MyTravel A330 is operating for the A321 obviousley because they are short of aircraft! Not coz of good loads!

As I left work on friday, it was showing as being based all week.
