Does any other operator (UK, Italy, Japan, Portugal) experience similar problems with this type?

No problems whatsoever with the FAP EH-101s till now, everybody seems to be very pleased with the new capabilities that the EH-101 offers over the Puma ( the main role is SAR over the Atlantic).

IMO, the regular USAF F-16 paintjob, also used in several other countries, is soooo boring that it surely sucks a lot.

Funny that you say that, when the first computer generated images of Merlins with that scheme, a lot of people, including me, groaned about it, iy seemed so old-fashioned. But now that I’ve seen it on the real birds, it looks very nice 😉
