Does any other operator (UK, Italy, Japan, Portugal) experience similar problems with this type?

No problems whatsoever with the FAP EH-101s till now, everybody seems to be very pleased with the new capabilities that the EH-101 offers over the Puma ( the main role is SAR over the Atlantic).

According to the lastest AFM issue (February), there have been talks in the past months of selling the L-159 to Nigeria and Indonesia.

guess a victorious war is the best way to convince average forum people of the benfits of your aircraft.

well it has to be said that if were down to forum people to decide which aircraft the airforces would choose, we might end up with rather more cool and interesting airplanes πŸ˜€

Gulf War 1 happened in 1991 and was a major conflict. It saw a hell load of new weapon being used. Subsequently after the war,US replaced Russia as biggest supplier of military product. F-16 selling like hotcakes around the world and F-15 was also heavily sought. Apache attack chopper and patriot ADM was subsequently bought by many allies even former soviet bloc countries start buying US military product.

How many of those countries that bought F-15s or F-16s were previously USSR war matΓ©riel clients ? And of those, how many of them switched to US equipment because it had proved *better* at war, instead of political considerations ?

a grandeur can’t permit to the italian cousins to lead an operation where french are involved.

It’s only natural for the country who provides the biggest contingent to lead the operation.

Noone is acting against terrorist or helping Lebanese army against Hizbollah.

Where does it say that’s their mission, in the UN mandate they were given?

If they can be that hostile with the French then imagine what they’d be like with the Spanish – particularly given Spain’s Muslim heritage.

Thanks for my laugh of the day πŸ˜€

Norwegian F-16s, particularly without a squadron fin flash. Yuk.

IMO, the regular USAF F-16 paintjob, also used in several other countries, is soooo boring that it surely sucks a lot.

Your EH-101Β΄s has a faaaaaar better looking with your traditional scheme, hi vecino.

Funny that you say that, when the first computer generated images of Merlins with that scheme, a lot of people, including me, groaned about it, iy seemed so old-fashioned. But now that I’ve seen it on the real birds, it looks very nice πŸ˜‰
