Thanks mate, I obviously haven’t missed much then!
Debbie Gibson, who she?
I see Flood and Arthur, thanks. No different from other aviation forums then! Whole lotta bitching goin’ on!:D
I’ve got nothing against the USA, or it’s citizens (except for Mr. Gibson, fine English name BTW!). I admire them for their love of their country, something that we are increasingly scared to admit to lest it upsets someone.
Contrary to what pussycat lover above says I think that many of their current TV shows are far superior to some of ours at the moment. I would cite Six Feet Under, NYPD Blue, The Sopranos, ER, Seinfeld, Will and Grace, Cheers, Frasier, and even The Phil Silvers Show. Think that’s enough to be getting on with!
What the hell was that all about?! Would somebody care to explain?
I cannot recall ever hearing Mel Gibson admitting that his travesty of a film ‘Braveheart’ was anything more then a fairytale. I loath and despise the man for having no regard whatsoever for this Countries history. He should be battered about the head with his Oscar (I’d be pleased to do it) which should then be taken away from him and given to a real film maker.
And then we have ‘The Patriot’. What can I say about that pile of ****e? A backwoodsman (Gibson) and his son manage to rout a whole column of redcoats. The British officer who is the villian of the piece is played like a character out of one of the Highlander films. Men, women and children, British Colonists mind you, are driven into a church which is then set alight by the Highlander character. You’re damn right that we British hate this film!
That’s for sure Nermal old fruit, but never mind eh!:)

I think that there can be no doubt that evolution more or less as described by Charles Darwin is a fact. He may not have been entirely correct in detail, but the evidence showing that he was broadly right is all around us if we have the eyes to see it.
I agree that to believe in ‘God’ in his many forms is a cop-out, an easy way to describe why certain unpleasant events take place, as in ‘His will be done’.

Being a bird lover, it follows that I don’t like cat’s. I cannot begin to comprehend why anyone would want five of the blighters!
