Yep, the old nose section’s still there, the last I heard Wetherspoons had put in a bid to buy it and turn into a bar.
Has anyone been to Majorca lately? the last time I was there there was a Convair rotting away in a field next to the airport

Kev , I think Supercar was one of the first of the Andersons puppet programmes so it wasnt as good as the others.
My memories of the World cup was splashing about in the fountains in Trafalgar Square then getting told off by my mum when I got home soaking wet ,well it saved on the washing.
We were a bit better off than you Kev, we had a two story semi-detatched cardoard box.
You’re right we had no mobile phones, no computers, no play stations,and only 2 TV stations in black and white, sigh! halcyon days!
………….even then we had Coronation Street!!!
