When it comes to spelling mine is about as bad as it gets so this is not a dig. Missing letter in the name above :):)

Pic below of Tom Cruise with P 51 `Kiss me Kate`, this link – http://www.usatoday.com/life/movies/news/2008-11-30-cruise-valkyrie_N.htm mentions he owns five aircraft, including an aerobatic biplane and a crop duster.

Blimey hats off to JT for keeping that early 707 flying… it looks superb in that livery.

…and using it to spread the `Scientology` message in Haiti 😉

You know you are doing pretty well when you can afford to run a 707, you know you are doing realy well when you can park it out side your house.

    Hi all

I have not wanted to be a pain, bumping this every five minutes, but the walk is this weekend so `bump`:)

I am getting a bit nervous, its going to be a bit warm which should make it hard work. But i suppose if it was easy then there would not be much point doing it.

So if you want to give ten bob to Dove House, a very worthy cause, please use this link https://www.dovehouse.org.uk/netcommunity/benhacker to my fundraising page.

PS. If you make it a quid I will post the pics of the sweating, broken, wreck that is me at the end. (or maybe make it a quid and I wont inflict them upon you) :):):):):):)

    Cheers

Nice shots Blue 2. Good to see the inside is still in good order. Ive been to Fort Paull a couple of times but not since the Beverley has been open. This aircraft was one of the things that got me interested in aviation, calling into see it on the way to and from the caravan at Hornsea. I would have tryd (pain in the …. to get to) to make it through this weekend if I had known there was an event on. Were you showing the MG.

Pushing the limits of staying on topic I know but….. Does anybody know what happened to the Rino (a sort of military monster truck) after the Army Transport Museum closed.

I am not claiming to know anything here guys. I was just wondering if maybe US aircraft designs dont need canards as they have thrust vectoring which European designs dont have. Is there a lack of thrust vectoring technology know how in Europe.

Like I said I said I know nothing about this kind of thing. I am just following the debate with interest.

    Hi all

I have just read all of the above two links (thank you both for sharing) very interesting. I am sure I am not the only one who just reads about the aircraft and does not realy think about the weapons. i have learnt a lot.

If Heathrow does not get the extra runway it needs I am sure there will be another airport in Europe which will expand to accommodate the traffic. The UK needs the money and jobs that will come with the new runway. These people have no grasp of what is realy important.
