why A Mig-29SMT with 2 external fuel tanks has a similar range to a Su-30MK. I know Algiera is a big country but the Mig-29SMT is good for them. If Morocco wants to match that they should get something like the F-16blk40/Mirage-2000-5 at worst, anything else under should be a walkover for Mig-29SMT, and Mirage F1 is not really a option no more, they are a lot older.

It seems to be very unclear how many Mig-29s in general Algeria has but it does look like they have sent them to Russia for upgrades, I doubt Janes is wrong over that report.

Ok I found out that Algeria currently has 63 Mig-29A + 8 Mig-29UBs and before 4 Mig-29s have crashed. Anyways Algeria has sent a number of Mig-29s to Russia for upgrade to SMT.

UN and International Laws were set up by the West, it was designed to have really World Order but at the end it mainly benefits the West. It’s really funny that US enforced everyone they dont like to follow those laws, but really they don’t follow it themselves.

Sopposed to be like some acting cops busting drug dealers for dealing drugs but the cops do it themselves.

Its not about World Order or Laws its all about interests.

Plus the unsolved Kosovo issue. The country seems to be at a political and economic dead end, but you might think differently.

And I suppose you take the same attitude with regards to the laws of whatecer country you reside in? You must be posting from a federal computer then I guess.

Laws are a leg on which society and civilization stand on.

No I respect country laws, but I think International Laws are a joke, since there is one superpower who doesnt seem to follow them and likes to write it’s own laws and policies. There is really no one out there to enforce these laws so they are a joke, it would be like a place full of laws except no one to enforce them, just bunch of corrupt cops out there that really dont care and just want in stuff themselves.

I am not sure if they did really, some sites state Algeria currently has about 60-70 Mig-29s(scramble claim), and others say that number is around 30-40.

Hmm I cannot believe that story regarding Super galebs or Jastrebs, I dont think Croatia has or operates any of them.

I do believe that Muslims in Bosnia and the KLA would’ve done ANYTHING to draw NATO inside the war, mainly the ground invasion but they did succeed in geting NATO’s help. It is kind of pathetic for West to support such as terrorist organization.

I think 60 Mig-29SMTs can stand up to pretty much anything, for one F-22 you can get really like what 8 Mig-29s, and 8 Mig-29s can do way more than one F-22 in A2G, and good in A2A.

I would have hordes of Super Tucanos to support my troops, those things would flood the sky with anti tank missiles/bombs. You can also do border patrol with them, light strike, helicopter killing(thast what Super Tucanos were designed for) COIN etc.

My transport fleet would also haul my ground troops, 5/10 AN-70s would be perfect for any country, along with a few Mi-38s for delivering supplies, ammunition etc for the ground troops.

NH90 would do good in many roles, including AEW, patrol, ASW, AS.

I dont think theres a need for Yak-130s. Right out of Super Tucanos jump into Mig-29 Double Seaters. Also S-400 is sopposed to have a range of 400 kms, I mean 4 would be enough to cover a country size of Romania.

-60 Mig-29SMTs/(10 double seaters) OR 30 F-35 OR 45 Gripens OR 50 LCAs. Either of these would work for me. All should be easy and cheap to operate
    -5 An-70s for long haul
    -15 Mi-38s for troop support/transport/resupplying
-5 EMB-145 AWACS for air control, fighter support, patrol, sea patrol
    -5 S-400s for defense
-30 Tor M1s to go with troops, for missile defense etc
-35 Super Tucanos for CAS, COIN, patrol, light strike
-10 Super Tucano Trainers for basic Pilot training
-10 NH90s for ASW, AS, AEW, Patrol etc
-3 Normal Airfields all to operate any sort of Aircraft
-4 Underground Airfields just to operate fighters

With this kind of Airforce, not only it will be cheap buit you can operate it for quite a while. Those damn Airfields would take over most of the budget, but heyy they are good

    Get back on topic now.

I am not sure how independant Saudi Arabia is but it looks like they will buy the Typhoon in the future, have F-15s, Typhoons and Tornados, it will look like a really good AF on paper but if their Pilots are not good they cant even touch Israel.
