hmmm that Extra 300 looks nice, any other good aerobatic planes that are lighter and very manouverable?
Yes Azerbaijan would be be nice because all you have to do is fly down the Caspian Sea and you’re over Iran, but would Azerbaijan realllly do it? Arent they a muslim country too? I doubt any Muslim country would really support a Jewish country attacking another Muslim Country, with the exception of Turks but they prolly wouldnt do it either.
Yes Subs would seem the best option but does Israel really have the capability to fire ballistic missiles from subs?
I wish.
Funny that some people in the world are thinking that we are such an aggresive nation. We have the right to have nuclear weapons, as a last option, or at least for scaring off enemy nations. While we aren’t planning to use it, Iran does.
Technically, can they actually destroy Israel without damaging or destroying Al-Aqtza, Al-quds, the entire Arab population in Israel and the Palestinian authority, as well as parts of the other countries around us?
Not really.
OMG you’re an idiot, I love the comment “Israel wouldnt use their nukes, and Iran is and they will therefore they shouldn’t have them”
Man some people are really really stupid.
Anyways, Subs could be an option, but can Israel launch ballistic missiles from their subs?
Also that option from Azerbaijan, can Israel really do that? Azerbaijan is another Muslim country, I doubt it.
Ok Let’s just say Israel can get through some way, how prepared are Iranian Tomcats/Fulcrums/Sams to stop/counter this attack?
no but a damn M2KBR can do about 70% of what an Su-35 can do and costs about 50% more. It’s crazy, I dont see how an 20+ yr old M2KBR can cost 70mil/piece
ohhh that sounds cool. I dont mind either a one seat or two seat, I wouldnt care about either but I am certainly looking around for an Aerobatic aircraft.
Any other aerobatic aircraft around? any good ones.
did you guys know that France offered the Mirage-2000BR to Brazil for 70 mil/piece and Sukhoi offered the Su-35 for 35mil/piece

Brazil will restart next-generation fighter contest
(by Pedro Paulo Rezende JDW Correspondent Brasilia)Brazil is poised to restart its $700 million F-X competition that will select the country’s next-generation fighter aircraft, Brazilian Air Force (FAB) sources say. Last January, the F-X programme was delayed for a year by the new Brazilian government of President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, as domestic needs took priority (Jane’s Defence Weekly 15 January). Now, a senior FAB official said, the service’s Aeronautics Command intends to restart the programme with an accelerated selection process. “The bidding process will reopen between October and December. In January, we intend to submit our candidate to the National Defence Council, which makes the final decision. We will know the winner in February,” the source said. Sukhoi’s Su-35 is currently favoured by air force officers, although a number of questions have been raised about logistics support for the aircraft, a senior FAB officer told JDW. The Su-35 was proposed by a consortium of Avibrás-Rosoboronexport-Knaapo (Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Production Association) at a unit price of $35 million. The Dassault Aviation-Embraer Mirage 2000-5Br offering, at a unit price of $70 million, is currently considered by the FAB to be its second choice, the source said. The Gripen International Gripen, at a unit price of $40 million*, is third. Lockheed Martin, with the F-16C ,and RSK-MiG with the MiG-29M3, are also bidding for the programme.
*Britain’s BAE Systems and Sweden’s Saab, joint makers of Gripen fighter jets, are hoping to win a big jet order from Brazil’s Air Force. Officials from Gripen yesterday said they had the full backing from the Britsh and Swedish governments to offer long-term, flexible financing for the order.
Dont the French love trying to rip off.
Woah, Argentina is looking to buy a small new Aircraft Carrier?????
Yes the Chinese are a generation behind Russia and US, but dont worry they are CATCHING up. Notice how they havent even put their J-10 in mass production and they are alerady speeding up work on the XXJ/J-12. China will soon catch up. I wouldnt be surprised if the J-12 might come out before the PAK-FA, which it will be probably inferior to but it will be a great leap forward for the CHinese.
Russians have a bit off a different view on generations.
It seems China is a bit ahead with its J-12 than the Russians withthe PAK-FA, but I still trust PAK-FA will be better at the end of the day.
The article is a bit confusing because it mixes Russian and Western views of generations of aircraft. I’d rather follow the Western views because I am just too used to them now.
Both J-12 and PAK-FA will be 5th generation like F22.
But careful of those Chinese, they are quickly learning and catching up.
PILOTGHT you’re an idiot, don’t talk no more because you just made yourself look really stupid.
bahh, I have 32 megs collection of pics of all kinds of aircraft, they are all in joeg and listed by alphabtical order, by the aircraft manufacturer, if I could just post them all here it would be awesome but its some 400 pics, I’ve collected alot
Well I think it’d be better to keep it as general as the whole country really, the USN operates differently than the USAF, therefore it operates its fighter on Aircraft Carrier, therefore its a bit different than on normal Airforces.
Anyways I wonder how many Su-34s Russia is geting, I understand this will be a
-RuAF Tactical bomber probably will replace Tu-22
-RuAF CAS to replace Su-25/39 and strike to replace Su-24s/Mig-27s.
-Russian Navy’s naval bomber/strike aircraft operated from Aircraft Carriers and might be a standard anti ship aircraft operated from land bases close to shores, but otherwise I dont see how it is possible for it to replace teh Tu-142.
Another thing is is Russia planning to replace ALL of it’s Flankers and Fulcrums with PAK-FA or will they be replacing them in smaller number?
rockgordon, if you see I listed the top 5 the way Ithought they might be, then i went on to list tons of countries which I didnt rank but just listed them there. Ok?
Why do you put USAF/USN seperate? why not just United states geez.
I think US will still remain superior obviosly but you put Israel there ahead of Russia and China, ………………………..
yes the big problems with cost of Rafale and EF2000 is the Euro because it is rising like crazy crazy. The Russians are developing their PAK-FA and they said that it will cost around 30-40 mil/piece, this is also hilarious because it will never cost this low, if Mig 1.44 costed 70 mil then thats CHEAP. Same goes for F-35, it will never be 25-35mil/piece, no way at least 50 I would say.
Ohh my you people are stupid, I didnt think they wouldnt exist, I just didnt list them. As you can see al lthe nations like Austria, Canada, Poland, all unranked, just put them there randomly, just cuz I didnt put most of the damn world there doesnt mean I didnt list them. I put the ones that I was pretty sure that might turn out like that by 2020, understand? Just cuz I missed Taiwan or Israel doesnt mean I thought they wouldnt exist by 2020, man some people are really DUMB on these forums. Read the damn first post and you’ll see. I only ranked the top 5.
SabreAce, is India really that righteous to attack Pakistan? I dont think so.
