PS Can anyone inform me of the current transatlantic route that GSM are operating a B737 on? Is it GLA-BOS?

    737-700ER GLA-BOS
    737-800 occ GLA-YHM and even SFB 😮

Wonder why Globespans new 738 was delivered without winglets, youd think it would be easier for Boeing to do it at the time.

As I understand it, the Virgin service is a try out, over the school summer holidays and also the October break with a view to a permanent GLA service in the future…? I also thought it would be positioning in from MAN ???

It was announced a year ago, and to be honest, I’d forgotten all about it til I saw these pictures.

Todays flight definitely routed directed in from MCO. It may be that is just because its the first service. The MAN service on a saturday has a completely different flight number. The program has been extended for 2008 to include Easter. Todays flight by media reports was full.

Well done on getting the first VS 744 on. Great pics 🙂 , just a hint of the “jaggies” along the top of the fuselage on the EK 777.
The VS 744 operated into GLA direct from MCO empty. Its a direct service from GLA-MCO with no collection or drop of at MAN.

wasnt it just one particular flight that only had 26 passengers rather than an average ?

Hence the reason TOM have refurbished their 767s on long haul with better seats, better seat pitch and upgraded food.

I’m diabetic and I’ll have them in court if they try and tell me not to eat my own food ! 😡

They’ll perhaps direct you to their terms and conditions which you must agree to when booking and suggest you fly with an alternative airline, medical condition or not.

The livery looks a bit like “Fresh” airways that was in that dodgy Sky One soap Mile High.

Yes but 2 have already passed to Silverjet.

Yes two that were older, hence the disposal.

Is that all these Corsair 744s ever do ? First Glasgow UEFA now more footie charters at DSA and LPL. I would have thought they would have a full summer charter timetable from France
