I see. You have now resorted to posting very unimaginative personal insults, with no attempt to answer any of the points I’ve made. That, dear troll, is an admission that you have lost the argument, & can’t make a reasoned reply.
If you’d acknowledged, & responded to, my arguments, instead of baldy stating “Your [sic] just not making any sense”, & similarly well-argued feats of logic, I’d not have called you out for trolling. But you’ve behaved in classic troll fashion. You withdraw from point after point, as it becomes untenable, but without ever openly accepting error on your part, & eventually resort to dismissing what you can’t reply to as ‘not making any sense’, without any attempt to say why.
Put up or shut up. It’s been explained to you why nothing the French have done indicates any dissatisfaction with CVF-FR, except for the cost. Do you now accept that you were mistaken on that point? If so, & if you withdraw the vulgar abuse, I’ll withdraw, & delete, the trolling references. If not – well, fair is as fair does.
From what I’v read, the French had insisted on so many changes as regard propulsion (three shafts vice two, and dropped one of the GTs) single island instead of two, larger hanger spaces, more flight deck area, greater fuel bunkerage, larger elevators, insistance on SATRAP, improved weapons storage capability (nukes), and more crew accomodation, that the design wasnt really the same anymore, and costs had risen alarmingly. The last I’v seen on the subject is that the French will make a descision sometime in “early 2013” as regards a second PA, but I’m thinking that the odds are pretty long as to them getting it. I wouldnt be surprised if the descision is put off again (say to 2015) to keep the program “alive”.
