KLM is not one of the oldest airlines, it is the oldest, so not them. But I´ll leave it as a maybe. There was talk about KL/AF looking at the C-series to replace the F70s.

QANTAS has outsourced their small planes. They are unlikely to order the C-Series for themselves, but perhaps for a subsidiary. Network Aviation flies six F100s with another 6 on order. So probably not Network Aviation, otherwise the six F100s on order would have been cancelled. Perhaps Qantaslink to replace their 717s?

Aeroflot is already going for SSJ.

CSA is a good bet, to replace their 735s. They got 8 of them, so 10+6 would be a good replacement with minor growth. But I do not think they are really a mayor network carrier.

Finnair, not likely with their young Embraer fleet.

Delta Air Lines, too small an order for such a large airline.

Tajik Air, in no way shape or form are they a mayor network carrier.

JAT, only a marginal network carrier at best.

LOT Polish, not likely due to the large fleet of Embraers. Also, hard to describe them as a mayor network player.

LAN Airlines, certainly would not rule them out.

Iberia, another good possiblity. Perhaps for their new Iberia Express venture?

    Aeropostal, not a mayor airline.

There were 6 of us riding together. The mongfoolery happened between me & the lead rider. Neither I, nor any of the 4 other guys are telepathic. How do you suggest we let the lead know that 2/3rd of the bikes are now stopped?

Cell phone. Besides, if the lead is even remotely a good driver he will use his/her mirrors and notice the group is missing. At that point he/she can either wait or turn around.

As for the difference between 4 or 5 people on scene, the idiot crashed his bike in a corner with poor visibility. It would be advisable to have one or two people standing before the corner to warn other traffic the road was blocked. Even if it only took seconds for the idiot to get the bike of the road (and I am not saying it took just seconds).

The online flight schedule at airberlin does not mention the EDI-HAJ route. It only mentions EDI to various Austrian destinations, presumably using Niki instead of Air Berlin proper.

    Military geographical information about England

    Picture book
    All of England
For London, refer to folder B.

    3rd edition

    Created september 1st, 1940

    Berlin, 1941

    Page 2:

    Introductory remarks
The images in this booklet are ordered by the typical landscape forms (see below) as sorted/displayed in the book “Military geographical information about England”. (See folder A, textbook, part II: “the individual land scapes” and [as displayed] in the sketch “English landscape layouts” at the end of the textbook.

The order of the images relates to landscapes 1 to 3 (Southwest, South and Southeast of England) which you can find when travelling from the westcoast to the eastcoast.

So just a collection of images and desciptions for the troops to let them know what to expect when invading England.

Not sure what’s the greater power here. The power of jetblast or the power of stupidity.

I’ll reserve judgement till I see one in the face. The photos are rather underwhelming, but somehow I think this might be better when seen for real.

That said, this does not to me convey the olympics. They should have put the olympic rings on the plane, or the Lisa Simpson BJ logo.

As someone not from the Isles, let me say that this design is instantly recognisable as being British. So I would not complain about that. Instead, just complain about the design. This looks more like a clown costume to me. But I ain´t a professional fashion designer, and I buy most my clothing from C&A, so what do I know about fashion.

Russian Presidential Fleet will have 2 more An-148 which will replace Tu-134

Rossiya special aircraft division will acquire two Аn-148 aircraft in 2012

Not much of a surprise I guess, but I will miss the ‘134s. How many are still left with the presidential flight? I know the air force still flies a large number of them.

Nice photos, but that beachvolleyball plane is just sad. Half the country is obsessing now over a possible “Elfstedentocht” and Transavia start promoting beachvolleybal!
