That sounds very interesting. If I can help I would gladly do so, but am not an industry insider. I did follow university level international logistics (bachelor in economics and logistics) so perhaps I can help a bit.

This is old news, tenthije. 😉
Apparently there is going to be some kind of announcement in January.
My apologies, I had not heard from it before.

[QUOTE=dc10fan]the taxi was even longer than normal. I timed it at 25mins.QUOTE]
Good to hear you had a good flights, but 25 minutes is about the average for taxiing to/from the polderbaan. Any further west and it would be the 2nd runway of LCY!
That night shot is simply awesome! If the large version is as good as the smaller one, and why shouldn’t it, then you must upload that to JP and A.net!

If the airline wants to fly from Dusseldorf they might want to learn to spell it correctly.
Actually that article is my translation of an article written by luchtvaartnieuws.nl. As such the spelling of Duesseldorf was done by me, and done correctly if I may add. There are two official forms of spellings. Düsseldorf (with “U-Umlaut”), and Duesseldorf (with “ue”). And then there is the English form of Dusseldorf (just “u”).

Why can’t they just keep it the way it is? Silver fuselage with silver tail. No red tails and definately no geography lessons! That’s just ugly.

the runway operation was very confusing, I still have no idea how they work it!
Attached you will find a quick drawing with the most usual runway operations. In blue the wind direction and in red the direction of the planes.
