its under FLOW in the title. A box saying “GPWS whoop, whoop, pull up!”
The last flight by a classic (a 300series) was december 2nd 2003.
nice photo! Must have been one of the last flights of the 742 too, as they have now all been retired.
Quite a few other manufacturers had them actually. The DC-90/MD80/MD90 for instance and the F28 (but not F70/100).
gee, an Englishman correcting the English of a Dutchman. It’s a strange world indeed! 😀

nope, captain Oveur ate all the fish!
LOL
The reason I did that was to show the teacher these boards have educational value. As that is the only thing teachers care about. I did that by stressing on the language bit.
But I’ll stop as it does take to much time.

OK, you’re a computer technitian (technician). So you have nothing better to do than looking for sites that are being used frequentley (frequently) and deciding to block them because they are not educational, or could it be because you’re childish and enjoy cutting off the sites, does it give you a thrill huh? and ([i]An (note the capital letter)[i]) adrenalin rush? It’s a forum for f**k sake, where people socalise (socialise). Maybe you’re not to familiar with that SOCIALISING (coming from someone who just misspelled socialise…)- You know where you talk to other people.
Do some real work and grow up will you.

Oh dear.
As I said, Welsh people are known to visit these boards! 😀
You can learn alot (a lot) fromm (from) the people who live in and around Amsterdam (grammatically correct, but I don’t live in or around Amsterdam. I live out in the sticks near Arnhem.). They can teach you why they leagallised (The spelling is legalized. having said that, the Netherlands have NOT legalized cannabis so the spelling is a moot point anyway.) cannabis and the traditional methods of using it there.

Dear sir,
I think these boards are a godsent for you and your students. This place is a perfect place to speak to people from around the world. People from the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Australia, the US, France all attend these boards. Heck, even people from Wales are known to drop by from time to time! If even they can do that, surely your students should be able to visit too!
Point is, this is a perfect place to learn your pupils proper English. Nowadays it is very tempting to write in SMS codes and to speak in local dialects. When speaking to foreigners this can not be done. They have to speak proper English if they want to be understood by the foreigners.
In fact, the local “lingo” has perverted their normal English that abdly that foreigners regularly explain their language to them! In case you don’t believe me, I included the opening post of your students, and highlighted the errors!
Reinstating these boards will be the best thing you can do to save the English language!
Kind regards,
Peter ten Thije

The recent blocking of this forum (should be “these forums”) on my college’s network may have come to your attention.
I also (redundant, just “I share the…” will suffice) share the same college with the following other (redundant, just “the following fourm…”will do) forum members: HURRICANE 477, tornadoF3, pigeon man.
This event has largely distrupted (disrupted) our quality of life.
It was a place to come in our timetabled free periods which are otherwise boring.
This morning we made an attempt to re instate the links from our college to this forum.
The actions we took were the following:
Me, tornadoF3 and HURRICANE 477 (“TornadoF3, HURRICANE and me” would be preferred) went to visit the IT teacher (name?). Upon challenging him to provide us with valid reasons as to why the forum was blocked, we recieved (received, if that is to hard to remember try “got”) the following reply; (:)
“I dunno I aint blocked nothin.” (no wonder your pupils are this bad at English, your English sucks! It should be “I don’t know, I did not block anything.”)
We then queried why the blocking had occoured (occured), and he stated that it may have happened after actions taken by the network manager because “we went on it too much and it aint (isn’t or is not) educational.”
At this stage, we were beginning to get pÃssed off.
So, It (after a comma you don’t have to start with a capital letter. So therefore “it” will suffice) has now come to the stage when (where) we need your help.
We need you to sign a petition in the form of a comment posted below, stating that you think our access should be regained (We are supposed to talk to the teacher. The teacher has acces already and would not “regain” it. The teacher has taken it and has to return it. The proper term is therefore “returned” and not “regained”) to this forum from our college and that we are critical members and also (redundant) that the forum has educational values.
Thank you for your help in this matter,
Regards
Luke
