Nice Ben – is she going to be a flyer?
JC
Having double checked, I’m still too old and have no PPL. Bugger.
I’ll check again tomorrow, but I don’t think it’ll help 🙁

No Worries Roger – Da’quake isn’t at the University, but at MRC’s workshop near Coventry. Dave’s plan is moving forward, and I think he’s planning to launch a supporters club in the near future.
JC
PS Welcome back John, I thought it had been quiet around here
Are you referring to my poor signal vs noise ratio by any chance 😉
Dave was planning to get the control surfaces back on to PY this weekend…
JC
Is that the Mustang linked with Coventry University?
Roger Smith.
What do you know Roger? 🙂
How’s the respray progressing Will?
After 9 days away in Gods own County I hope that my beloved will let me go to the Classic Flight do next Saturday (Get Netty to put a good word in for me Will!!)

Back from a week in Norfolk, bathroom fitting for my parents
Glad we don’t have to buy beer on birthdays! There has been rather a lot of them recently!
Happy birthday 😀

Dakota G AMPY hopefully should be airbo(u)rne and resplendant in her new colours by the end of April (this one that is).
JC
Long live ‘PY
sed Ewen.
Any ideas how the paint job is going? Not going to get over again until the 23rd I fear.
JC
I’m with Steve on this – standing about 15 feet away from a Lightning on reheat, looking at the shockwave around the air intake has got to be one of my aviation highlights.
When my hearing came back and my internal organs stopped vibrating all I could hear was car alarms 🙂
Then came the Victor…..

Apparently there may be another Cold War Jets day at Bruntingthorpe in August – please let it happen!!
I should really stick my mobile number on here for those that land nearby..
Will J sedded:
Derelict, thats no way to talk about my car, at least it has a roof
I resemble that remark! My car does have most of it’s roof – ok some of it might not be in necessarily the right order (or indeed attached) but then who said that life has to be perfect 🙂
Anyhow, I have a new roof for the scabriolet, just looking for volunteers to help me fit it when the weather is warmer.
JC
Can’t believe you went to the Oaks – the Mill is far far nicer! Also looks as if you parked outside of Hanger 7 (or it very near to it), where the MRC crew were in full Dak attack mode. If you could see the Shackleton, then you weren’t far away..
Anyone coming over for the Classic Fight Experience thingy on April 23rd?
JC
PS Come back Rob!
Logically, the only reason for quoting a height would be to ensure all of the aeroplane will fit into the hangar without embarrasing “crunch” noises. So in my opinion, I’d be looking for the highest point when on level ground at rest, with no load (fuel, pilots etc) at minimum oleo compression (max extension).
JC
Thought not – apparently the first one is the most difficult though.
JC
I’m late as usual, but what they all said. Fancy doing a Dak now? 🙂
JC
Some of us have only seen the inside of Hangars 6 and 7 🙂 I think the MRC crew will be on holiday for a couple of weeks – in my case SWMBO has already got me tearing the house apart – a whole winters worth of home improvements!!!
Nice sketch Will – ever thought of doing it as a career? 😀
