Thought I would have a look at the aero antique shop in Dorking today. Nice that such a shop such as this exists.
Whilst researching the above topic I also came across this discussion on the variants of Canberra yokes if anyone is interested.

Nope, tried Bing too. All I found was my original post.
Here is one such link

There should be at least another one or two threads on this subject. I retrieved this by doing a quick google on key words “spade grip Dunlop coating” I’m sure the other threads will come up if you play around with the words. Hope it answers some of your questions.
I ditto Smiths comments above, most times I don’t log in when browsing and haven’t felt the compulsion to write comments every time during the 12 or so occasions I have read this thread since Saturday.
Regarding insurance hikes after accidents: No doubt this will apply to local authority refuse trucks as well. Shall we also ban the weekly bin collections.
‘Auction ended because the item was lost or broken’. That’s a bit odd…
What normally happens is once the eBay item is publicised here it generates a lot of interest and the prices go up or alternatively the seller is contacted privately, a deal mutual to both parties is done behind closed doors and the item is removed from sale. It’s easy to remove items from eBay all you have to is pick a reason from a pre populated drop down. I’m not suggesting that this has happened in this case but what I am pointing out is that removing the item may not seem so odd after appearing on this thread as it can give listings a boost generating a lot of interest from other colectors who haven’t initially come across the listing.
Good news, I don’t think these machines reached European skies, remember seeing some of these birds in the late 80’s at Medan airport in Sumatra. Thanks for posting the link.
Another link with the past gone, all the best mate..condolences to the family
Unfortunately supply out srips demand, each eye brow light can go for a tidy sum. Therefore when selling panels there is much more income generated to strip and sell everything individually rather than all in one piece. These do turn up on eBay every now and then.
As stated above eBay is probably your best bet to get a good price on this especially if you are willing to post world wide as it will make it more acessable to collectors including the Swiss. From a sellers point of view this will be good as it should reach a decent price, from a collectors point of view eBay can be not so good as it can drive prices up. Good luck on selling your grip! And let us know what price it achieved out of interest.
Hi Gokone, do you have any photos of the cockpit and stand so that I can visualise what is being discussed. Thanks
Don’t know the guy, neither do I have any inside information.
However quite often those under investigation receive legal advise not to say anything or make public statements until after investigations have been completed by the authorities. Just a possible explanation as to the silence?
