A number of years ago one of the nicest most decent men in the North died doing the thing he loved. Joey Dunlop may not be known to a lot of you but he was the finest road racers of his and dare i say most generations. his funeral needless to say was huge with tens of thousand lining the route from Dublin airport to his home approx 50 miles north of Belfast.

The Irish Daily Star , that fine example of the paper media, decided that it was a good idea to publish photos of Joey’s body at the scene of the crash. Needless to say I and probably most of those who remember the man will not buy a copy of that rag again.

No one is deciding what others should or should not watch or for that matter think .But there has to be a line drawn at some stage before this crap totally dominates TV.

As previously advised i DID watch some of this rubbish before confirming what i already thought from minimal watching over previous years and listening to the mindless pap spouted by some of my more impressionable work colleagues .mind you it wouldnt take much examination to come up with an opinion on a programme that is dependant on Rudeness, ignorance & stupidity to enhance its viewing figures..never mind the real highlight….Switch on in the early hours to watch your favorite non entities sleep….GREAT!!!

Well, let’s face it, the images we see on the likes of E4/C4 have a five minute gap (at least) between filming and arriving on our TV screens, so it’s entirely likely that the footage is conveniently cut to get more of a reaction from viewers.

Sadly, it seems that Jade is the only one of the previous BB bods (and not even a winner at that! Who remembers the name of the last one? Not me!) to be making even half a name for herself, so not likely to disappear anytime soon! :rolleyes:

Jade will disappear from view quicker than we think . She will go the way of all the rest of these ” Media ” celebrities. She will go the path of a certain lady of a similiar build who has to resort to various “heart rending” revelations about her former “Boyband ” husband to maintain her fame..mind you he does the same but is slipping from view even quicker!!!

Think we have gone through this before but repetition can be forgiven. Have there not been have cases in the past where human remains where desecrated and dealt with in a totally disrespectful manner?

i dont see the problem with anyone saying , and i would completely agree,that this is something to be held in the highest contempt.

I do have some small pieces of a WW2 aircraft which was given to me by a friend who had been involved in the placing of a memorial to the crew. And yes there was no danger of remains being found as all bodies were recovered.

Had there been the slightest chance of remains being present these small pieces would not have been offered or for that matter accepted. I wish that i could say that everyone interested in this subject had the same morals as the contributors to this forum.
