6(H2O) + 6(CO2) + sunlight —-> C6H12O6+ 6(O2) is the formula for photosynthesis. Without CO2, photosynthesis isn’t possible and we will all have to stop breathing.

Had he been in the same camp as Buck by the time he wrote to Thelma? If so it seems inconceivable that they hadn’t discussed what happened on the day they were both downed.
